Think we all as Indians appreciate the fact Pakistan have been far superior to us in ODI's with bowlers in recent years that we could only dream of. However Dhoni has made us one of the best ODI sides in the world (ironically the opposite in tests) and every time he gets his tactics spot on. Under him we're a tournament side no doubt about it.

For me and I stand by it - the right decision was made. Hussein also said that while he was surprised at the decision the ICC in recent years have moved away from only overturning howlers and third umpires are beginning to act more on impulse. Dhoni went straight up, Snicko showed a slight nick from what I saw and Umar Akmal made no real complaint of it simply confirming to me there was a feather of a touch.

However to use it as any form of reason as Pakistan's loss is being rather short sighted. Pakistan's shocking inability to rotate strike eventually cost them as well as the cluster of wickets they kept losing. India's three departments also functioned well and the bowlers actually did a stellar job creating the pressure and getting the wickets at the right times.

This game was just a dead rubber. Both sides will make it to QF and we all know Pak like to ease themselves into a tournament before going on a run.

I've never said that's the sole reason for defeat today. It certainly wasn't. It will, however, probably play a part in our overall run-rate. India were always massive favs against our inexperienced reserved side. We are very much work in progress and I still expect us to get to QF at least
