Oh yeah draw is by far the most likely result, but I'm certainly a lot more hopeful of an England victory then I was at tea yesterday!

It can still be a result either way if India gets all out by lunch tomorrow or before that.

This is a very difficult wicket to force people out on. 20 wickets have fallen. and its nearly tea on day 4. shows everything.

Prior continues to cost England, he's so lucky the focus is all on Cook

Sharma playing the tough guy earlier

This is a draw... They may as well shake hands now...

If india are less than 3 down at the close.. Am not gonna watch tomorrows play. Its pointless. after 5 days there should be a result in a test match..

No afridi. As an indian fan i want england out in the pitch for as long as possible

viru.. and if England prepare a green top at Lords. will India still bat first??

posted on 12/7/14

Lords is always flat. No chance we will have a green wicket. Englands batting is pretty average and it would prpbably give indian bowlers a sniff. The reason i say we shouldnt bother bowling again is this pitch way too flat for a result. There is only 3 days rest before lords. Why bowl like 90overs tomorrow in what is 90 percent draw? And risk your bowlers from fatigue

Trent bridge is meant to be Englands most bowler friendly wicket. If this is as flat as a pancake, i wonder what lords and other wickets will be like

Of course, the pitches will be made flat, so, the county cricket authorities are make sure every match will last for 5 full days to save themselves from bankruptcy. "

Headingley and Chester-le-Street are more bowler friendly than Trent bridge, for the last two years, trent bridge has been this horrible slow low pancake.

Agreed jezzer

If Lords starts off with no grass on it and is flat.. It will be another pointless game.
Just like this one..

You know if Anderson hadn't have got out with one ball remaining at leeds..there would have been 3 test matches this summer.. all going 5 days and all ending in draws.

heyyy India this is the ecb calling. how would you like the wicket to be prepared for the first test match at Nottingham. we are your friends. well could you please tell your groundsman to role the pitch for 3 days and take the life out if it.. and please could you remove any grass.
Surely says the ecb.. We don't wanna beat you. we are your friends.

This test match has been nothing short of a disgrace. Just a pointless games for the batters to pad there stats.

I bet if Pakistan were touring then no chance it would have been the same wicket.

Also if I was dhoni I would just bat all day tomorrow and tire the England bowlers as there's another so called TEST in a few days time.

Kash I agree.. they woulda left grass on. its to cosy for my liking.. wow 2 in 2 overs..

No way india are going for a result here. Unless eng get them out, england have a pretty long day tomorrow, and hopefully a few injuries
