You make Tonto sound interesting.

You must've been in a trance, I bet you can't remember us hammering you 5-0 either?

We came 4th... which I thought was good until I tried to cash in my ticket

Webbo, I was going to go with the Neptune boys. It would've cost around £2,000 thank goodness I saved my money and didn't go.

Of course I do, silly, we had 10 men for about 90 minutes, and we still beat you.

No, silly, I meant the play off final.

Just accept defeat Wassa, you Derby fans can't win every time. Like at Wembley for instance.

Couldn't resist.

I'll say again what I've said before, I wasn't too bothered about last season cause we weren't ready. This season should be our season now, cause this squad has been together long enough, we just need the last couple of jigsaw pieces. watch this space.

I don't doubt it Wassa, but next season we will have our first team fit and well again, plus some decent additions (who might actually know where the net thing is for a change - fingers crossed). So, while I'm watching your space, you might want to keep an eye on ours too.

So what is it, top 2 for you lot, or, top 6 to improve on your disaterous last season?
I'm expecting Derby to finish in the top 2, even if Sam Rush won't say it. I certainly know Steve Mac won't say it, cause he likes to keep everything low profile.

===========================

Might be so FAF, but in Essence you still have a rookie manager in the the toughest league in the world, while we are battle hardened and ready for the challenge ahead.

If I may offer an opinion or two:
First of all FAF, I'm not sure our first team will be fit; Wilson? Cohen? from what I am hearing may not be match ready for August 9th; even so we will still be able to put out a very strong team on that day, one good enough to contest the play off positions at least.

I don't see Derby improving on last season. They have lost the surprise element and three first team players, or has Thorne rejoined? (We haven't lost anyone I would want in our matchday squad, unless you count Peltier who might just make the bench on a bad day, - just dross and trouble makers). Having said that Derby would probably be happy with the playoffs again, as would we.

SP is not really a rookie is he. He entered (caretaker) management many years ago and has experience at PL and international level. Unproven in the Championship yes, but he won't be the disaster that Davies or McLaren turned out to be. I think Brian Eastick is a very shrewd appointment too.

We do need a CEO though as if that side of things is not right it will have an effect on Saturday afternoons.

Oh - This was about England wasn't it. Well Redun, in our three group games we dominated so much that FIFA in their wisdom decided that it would be better if they awarded us the World Cup there and then and we returned home leaving all those inferior and dejected nations (Netherlands, Argentina, Brazil, France) to fight it out in an ersatz world cup

oh ! according to our lad theyv'e recycled them and sent them on to sheep fans to replace the hankerchiefs they used to cry in at wembley.
ah . .sad.

posted on 28/6/14

I think you lad got mixed up, they were sent to Forest fans 1/2 are to be used to clean up the 'celebrations' you made over the cracking season you had.

The other are to be saved for your tears when you get another drubbing off us again
