I can tell you as a Chelsea supporter, he needs to be more selfish in matches if he is to be up their with the best!

If he'd have been less selfish tonight then the game would already have been over. He's a great talent, but often when I see him play he plays for himself.

I tell you whose performance has been a disgrace.....

Fellaini. My word this guy is cack. He has just been runing around like a headless chicken. Let's not kid ourselves here, if Fellaini can't shine against this midfield, what chance does he have when we are back at the pinnacle of football.

Not often we ever agree

But on this occasion,we do

Well, and this isn't intended to sound rude, but you haven't paid close enough attention then. Ask any Chelsea fan and they will tell you that in order to get to that next level, Hazard needs to start imposing himself on games more and take more chances for himself instead of laying them off, especially when the one receiving the pass is Torres

The selfish, arrogant perception comes about from when he announced he was moving to Chelsea, people obviously saw it as arrogant, and to be fair it was, but if you actually watch him, he is anything but, at least with Chelsea.

He's been truly awful. The best thing he did was almost get an assist, but that only happened because he trapped the ball 5 yards away from himself and it fell kindly.

Fellaini's performance a 'disgrace'?

There's no way you'd have picked him out if he weren't a United flop. He has been mediocre, ineffectual, reasonably tidy on the ball but woefully slow. Far from Belgium's best player but he's basically a limited player trying his best. It's his quality and speed that are not quite top level, not a 'disgraceful performance'.

Erm, the commentators have mentioned it, I can't see him doing anything but running around. Can you tell us what he has done in the centre of the park? He is not winning balls, he is not passing balls, Fellaini is just running. At this level, that is a disgrace in my books.

I can only base my opinion on what I have seen of him, but obviously I don't watch him every game. And my opinion has nothing to do with how he announced he was joining Chelsea. I did find that all very narcissistic to be honest, but I'm not factoring it in.

I'm not saying he has played well. I'm saying he has been poor because of his limitations as a player. I.e. it's not a question of his 'performance'. He's not a disgrace because he can't help being the player he is. In fact, I don't think he has been that bad relative to his United form.

His problem is he isn't a CM. Play him as a no.10 in the right system and he will do ok. But he is a shocking CM.

The argument isn't whether he has been poor or not. I'm questioning whether you need to use that kind of language of moral disgust. A disgrace, I tell you! That's not an observation about a game of football - it's an expression of contempt.

Fellaini is poor but I found it quite disgusting that Lawro kept singling him out at every opportunity. Hazard was a greedy ball hogging git but no mention of him having a poor game.

We get that Fellaini is poor but leave the guy alone ffs.

A lot of the time I get frustrated by Hazard's unselfishness actually. I thought he was a bit greedy tonight against USA, but on the whole, for Chelsea at least, he seems to want to be the creator more than anything else

Perhaps it is just that I have watched him in games when he has been a bit more selfish then. I thought he was poor last night and seemed more focused on making a name for himself on the World Cup stage than seeing his team qualify. As I have said previously though, he is a superb talent.
