If he is happy to stay then great news!

I think he'll leave. I'd imagine he still wants to be first choice, not on the bench.
He's really got nowhere to go it seems. High salary presumably. Only a year elft on the contract. No team really looking for him.

I think he's better than Mignolet but after Pepe flirted with Barca he pîssed a lot of people off!
You could see in his past season at liverpool in his body language that he was not motivated to make a save and the look on his face when trying to save a shot showed a man who wanted out
I thought I had read Brendan saying that he wouldn't be in his future L'pool plans(paraphrasing) after Reina had wrote a good-bye letter to the L'pool fans
the look on his face when trying to save a shot showed a man who wanted out

Are you seriously suggesting he was thinking about leaving while in the process of trying to save a shot?
What else do goalkeepers think about while they're making saves? Tim Howard won't be thinking about leaving, because he seems to be happy there....so, not sure.
Perhaps he's thinking....."what more can I do to make it look like my head's upside down?"

Ha!
He wanted to leave when we weren't in the Champions League and didn't put the effort in, we get back into the Champions League, no thanks to him and he wants to stay. His time has passed, for me.

He's having one of his little digs at me with that comment.
I'd said that his body language was terrible for a couple of seasons, he looked like he didn't want to be at the club. Also he looked resigned to the ball going in and made half-hearted attempts at a save, already looking at the player he was going to blame before he hit the ground.
The old Pepe would have been trying his heart out, making saves that most would have deemed a lost cause.
He just wasn't the same after he wanted to go to Arsenal.
Who have Atletico got as goalkeeper now Courtois has gone back to Chelsea?

They are after the Costa Rica keeper who has been impressive in world cup and does play in La Liga already.
Kash no taraweeh for you?
I still love Reina, a great player to have in the dressing room. I loved his full field sprints of celebration. You guys seem to forget he stick with us through the horrid H&G period. He could have gone to many other clubs but didn't. His form did dip and yes he may have flirted with the idea of moving away but do you blame him? He deserves another shot in my opinion.

Only because he was forced to stick with us, he wanted to go to Arsenal. He was bad for the dressing room in the end. Look how the team togetherness improved when he left.

I am with TOOR.
Reina was mince for two seasons or more, barely saved anything worth saving in that time and his attitude stank the place out.
He obviously burned his bridges with Rodgers, I can't see Rodgers changing his mind on that unless Reina does some begging and Reina has too much ego for that.
We will loan him somewhere for half his wages of we can't sell him, or he will rot in the reserves.
I would bet good money he will never play for us again.
Talking if keepers, I reckon Paddy Kenny might just win an unfair dismissal claim for this one
Goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, 36, has been dropped by Leeds because the club's owner Massimo Cellino hates the fact the goalkeeper is born on 17 May. Cellino believes 17 is an unlucky number. Daily Star (external)
They'll get no youth players through the system, they'll all be sold at 17
Cellino is also scared of purple apparently.
Anyone fans of other clubs next season against Leeds should all hold up purple cards with 17 on them
Reina is a fantastic keeper. Some seem to dislike as he tried for a move away, Suarez does this and fans drool over him!
A keeper with such distribution skills, I hope he gets away as many "fans" dont seem to rate him
