I caught over a dozen Napoli games last season. And other than scoring, Higuain was quiet almost every time. A bit like when Napoli beat us in the CL and he scored despite doing fack all. And no way in hell is Higuain's general game better than Cavani's.

I hate when a top player is quiet and then scores a very good goal out of nothing. Such a bad trait. Henry always did that.

Not remotely comparable. If anything, I thought Henry should have scored more than he did considering the consistent solo threat he carried. Higuain would be more of a bankrupt man's version of Van Nistelrooy.

No, I didn't say that. That's our distorted version of what I said. I was saying Cavani contributes more. It doesn;t mean Higuain contributes nothing. Your posting "examples" was totally unnecessary. I could post Youtube clips of Gervinho looking like Ronaldinho.

Saying all strikers go missing is a cop out. Some go missing more than others. Compared to many strikers considered top class in Europe, Higuain goes missing more than most.

just looked at stats and Benzema and Higuain are pretty much the same with Giroud a little behind.

Statistically, Walcott is one of the best wide players in Europe. Stats without context means nothing. I've already said Higuain is pretty efficient and a good finisher. There's more to a player than finishing. Higuain is certainly better than Giroud but Benzema is an all-round better player by a comfotable margin.

Higuain is a good goalscorer but he lacks an all-round game, I wouldn't pay 30m for him.

Higuain showed absolute nothing so far at the WC. He was average at best the whole Napoli season. Now that he scored a goal he is world class again. You cant make that up.
