Lukaku transfer a possibility?

Probably a permanent transfer.

£15m + Lukaku for Barkley

posted on 6/7/14

That's cheap for Ross Barkley when Lallana went for 25m

posted on 6/7/14

Lallana at this moment is a better player.. Considerif they value Lukaku for 18-20m that's £30m+ for Barkley

Fair value I reckon.

It would be better for Barkley if he stays with you for another season at least

But he would be your only chance of signing Lukaku as i doubt you can raise 20m atm

*afford not raise

We won't be selling or trading Barkley at any price and we should be able to muster up £20m after selling Fellaini, anichebe and Jelavic not to mention the increase in revenue from tv. However spending £20m on one player would affect other potential transfers

Roy didn't think so.

The truth be told he's not my first choice; I rather have Bony. Saying that,Lukaku was brilliant for WBA in his first season,so Boney may well suffer from second season syndrome. I know I may sound ungrateful,as Lukaku was our top scorer, but there were times last season when he was awful (I do have to remind myself that he is only 21).

I think he would benefit from competition whilst still being the main man, he looked a bit fatigued at times last season which is understandable given the amount of games he played

So someone thinks Barkley is only worth maybe £10m?

That he has done nothing, unlike his backup for England Lallana.

Another expensive English flop for our neighbours.

But let's get the red tinted glasses out for an English tax player

and roy did spectacularly well didnt he?
worst ever england manager

barkley is good and potentially a top player, but all we have seen so far is flashes of ability. needs to do it on a consistent first.

Hardly seen much from Lallana after two seasons to suggest he offers anything more than Allen

And at twice the price. Is he value?

You're right there, what was he thinking of,picking so many Liverpool players?

Really? With Martinez promising Everton champions league footy this would've been a must win game he would be going all out for. Barkley was booked and subbed at half time!

From which, "(Everton) struggled to get to grips with the movement and quality of England duo Lambert and Adam Lallana,"

Absolutely agree with you there Alas...

... He'd already shown how poor he is with managing Liverpool players when he was employed on Merseyside.

He's a chancer, at best

Wow, so the team had a terrible day and that makes Lallana a better player?

How did Saints finish in the league with such movement and skill from these two

Every time you're outplayed you've had a horrible day?

posted on 7/7/14

Also, do you not think Lallana playing well contributed to your terrible day?

Versus Barkley who lost his head and had to be subbed at half time!

Lallana and Lambert booked in this tepid performance against a player Lallana is better than.

Maybe he had a bad day

posted on 7/7/14

At least he got to play both halves and wasn't hooked at half time, also went close with a chance from the report given.

Hooked at half time v Southampton

Like id said earlier a value of just over £30m is fair.
