Telegraph saying we're after Lars Bender

Jeremy Wilson, Oliver Kay and David Ornstein are the only people in the media who are reliable when it comes to Arsenal. John Cross obviously has links too but he just talks so much shít I don't take him seriously, although yea, he is going with the Lars Bender story, too.

As for him being any good, well I would love him at Arsenal, especially when the other candidates are Schneiderlin and Khedira. Would be an excellent signing imo.

Yh, I noticed John Cross had this story too, that's when I really started to doubt it. Guy's a muppet.

The articles were published at roughly the same time though, must count for something.

Tbf we are a journalists dream at this time of year.
We have cash, we have obvious areas of weakness in our squad and we have a manager who stays pretty tightlipped on transfer rumours.
That gives journos quite a free range.

Debuchy looks as good as done.
I am only 50/50 on the truth behind the Sanchez stories.
And this latest one seems like it is journos playing FM a bit.

Not seen alot of LB play, tbh.

I'm worried about the Sanchez deal too.

This place will go into meltdown if he joins Liverpool.

Is Lars the one at Dortmund or Leverkusen? The Leverkusen one has always struck me as the better, plays a lot more often too.
Wouldnt want the Dortmund one, would be content with the Kusen one.

Lars is the Leverkusen player. Sanchez is not going to Liverpool. Only worry is Napoli come out of nowhere and snatch him off us like with Higuain.

Leverkusen

Can definitely see Alexis going back to Italy. Juventus would be the obvious choice.

No, but you get the feeling Liverpool are gna do everything they can to make it as difficult as possible, even if they know he won't join.

Alexis is done according to reports in Spain. I am confident he's going to be an Arsenal player. Can't see him going juve if Vidal is leaving either.

It will be weird having a white RB and a white BBDM.

Be like 1998 again.

why are Barcelona waiting for a matched offer from juve for? is it because sanchez wants to join them?

Is Bender a pure defensive mid, or box to box?

I hope the success also matches that season then.

I suspect liverpool don't want them to sell sanchez to one of their rivals? They have a fair amount of power here.

huh this is annoying. hopefully sanchez only wants to join us!

I think you're overplaying the amount of power Liverpool have in this.
They cannot tell Barca who they can sell to. But it does sound like something those muppets would try to do.

Leverkusen Bender box to box, Dortmund Bender orthodox DM.
Lars definitely the better twin.

posted on 7/7/14

Usually plays in band of three midfield for Leverkusen, capable passer and heavily involved in build up play.

Was merely thinking out loud, but you can see them easily demanding Barca raise the transfer fee for Alexis (if he doesn't want to join 'pool).

It's all about the Leverkusen Lars.

Guys you know that he is injured? He couldnt participate at the WC. Not sure if he will make it to be fit again at the start of the new season.

I don't know from where the rumours again come from. Lars said he won't go this year and Leverkusen won't sell. I cant see it coming.

Some of you absolute overhype him I fear.

This is all Rubbish, without the cash for Sanchez Barca cant buy Suarez and Liverpool are looking to get rid of him asap. If he doesnt move to Barca his ban wont get shortened imo.

Arsenal are probably one of the only clubs in world football that can put up the cash 100% for a player (Apart from City/Chelsea) none of the bullsh payments where barca are probably stil owe us for Henry.
