I'd go for 5-0 in the test series. But the weather will save India in one of the games. so 4 nil again.
Odi's England
20/20 India. (crash bang wallop cricket)
If Cook cant score runs against the dibbly dobbly bowlers of india. Hes got huge problems.
He'll hammer the ball to all parts and be the leading run getter
I wonder if we will see Dhoni bowling again England 700-2. And he dons bowling boots and chundels up to the crease to save India
watched India bowling at Grace road, cant say much.
Indias bowling was weak.
Saying that, Sri Lanka just won a test series...so there must be an element of doubt around the England team.
I thought the Lanka bowling was poor but India are on another level when it comes to poor bowling overseas.

Agree.
The Leicester batsman declared to give others a chance, and that's a Division 2 county!
TBH - if England do score below 400...well, I'd say its poor bowling v poor batting
If cook gets back in form, we should give a permanent retirment to our bowlers, starting with ishant sharma. Shami, ishant, and bhuvi have played enough to be able to start performaing with impact, if they can't now, they will never.
Also we should play with 5 bowlers. So far our team has successfully been able to put us in the driving seats and in positions where an average team would win. 4bowler strategy has jeopardised energies of our bowlers and having that exra seamer will really ease the burden on shami and even ishant. Jadeja and binny can also bat abit, so having both in the team will add the same value of having that extra batsman.
Looking foward to see the team win this series(fingers crossed).
What is PMT ?
What are the odds for Kevin Petersen to make a comeback in this series?
@Mafia,
I don't think KP will ever play for Englund nw but I am glad that he ain't playin pal..
As for the series, my gut feelin that India may surprise this time n pretty sure they will do lot better than before..
Viru,
Well said n now we have Binny too for the 5th bowler slot.. He can bat n I would prefer him instead of Nohit Sharma. Regarding other useless Sharma, if he fails in first test then plz someone injure his weak bck so he won't be able to play further in da series cos Dhoni wouldn't drop him that easily. I don't knw why but he may be Dhoni's mistress lol...
Also my 2cents that I would prefer to give chance some other bowler like Varon instead of Ishant who even failed in warm-up games. It is a tough choice but we gotta try him sooner or later instead of same-old trundler Ishy..
Very difficult to predict this... India have been a shambles away from home recently and their dolly bowlers don't help... But if the sun comes out and it's a hot summer, they have the batsmen to get runs...
England's new era has started off poorly, too many newbies and no real spinner to shout about, you'd think this series will be closely fought...... India won't get a better chance to beat England at home... And England won't have a better chance to get back to winning ways with this Indian attack....
I know I'm repeating myself here, but I've lost a lot of respect for England after the treatment of KP...

Why blame England only? Didn't KP brought on himself too with his little sissy fits?

I would have thought the Australia and Sri Lanka series were the "last Chance Saloon"
Surely England have someone who can lead that team, and do a better job.
Why blame England.. Kp as caused alot of trouble in his time.
I for one is glad hes gone.Anyway he refuses to play first class cricket for surrey. Its beneath him so it seems.
England dont like leaders they cant handle any form of crictism.. And with cook not battng well.. he cant slate others in the team,
Cook shouldnt be captain for his decision making he just doesnt have it.
Anyone want to get a match thread up and running?
Just create one for the whole series
Kav's looks ok to me
you do one lefty.. But remember its England/India not t-other way around.
Am gonna do a thread on umpire mistakes and see how many they make.
Feel free to do a series thread..
Go ahead Lefty with da match thread soon..
I think kav's is fine.. But lefty if you want to do one, you better get a thick skin especially if things aren't going well for India.. If you're going to delete comments because of your historical touchiness, then I suggest you don't do one
Englandwhoelse did a fantastic England-Lanka thread, no reason why he shouldn't do one? He's not for for getting upset easy
Afridi,
First u try to have a thick skin instead of complaining as usual.. Ur the first one goin to admin like a little kid complaining his teacher. In ur articles u delete comments of other folks when they give bck the taste of ur meds.. Chill pal n stop ruining threads as u have doing here. Englund himself suggested lefty to make match thread n I also supported that. I understand that u may have fits like Kp if he does one lol!
Lefty,
U should make one as u have been in this board for some time n also it is India series.. Englund has already done quite a few match threads ths year. Also u don't delete comments as some little kids here ..
