Roy Keane did not end Haaland's career. Go do some research.
Obviously Roy, he ended Haaland's career.
What is worse:
A gang member is shot for his provocative actions with a rival gang.
Three innocent men are beaten up unprovoked.
Yeah Keane didn't end his career it was the other knee/leg if memory serves.
What I am sure of is this.
I'd rather have someone nibble my shoulder than spit in my face.
I'd rather have someone nuibble on my shoulder rather than smash me in the face with an elbow.
I'd rather have someone nibble on my shulder than have a two footed, over the top tackle on my ankle.
I'd rather have someone nibble on my shoulder than have them jump into me with their knee and break my back.
People are idiots.

I think it was along the lines of calling Keane a cheat by feigning injury and trying to win a pen/get Haaland sent off.
On the subject of this crap of Keane ending Haaland's career, Haaland played for Norway a few days after that Manchester Derby, and the following week for City, before he got injured. He even played 4 games for City in the following season before quitting. Keane's tackle had absolutely no bearing on Haaland retiring through injury. Haaland said this himself.
Haaland cannot even bring himself to say the name of the man who effectively ended his career
==============
I love people who cannot even reasearch a very basic point, it wasnt the same knee, had nothing to do with the challenge at all the reason he retired.
You have a seriously warped mind if you think a retaliation like that four years after the event was deserved.
..........
I agree with that, melts.
But as someone who played the game myself I can understand that kind of mentality. And we all know Keane was mental.
If a player ever fouled me on purpose and got away with it, I would always get the effer back before the final whistle. He wouldn't foul me again, that was for sure.
Then it would be shake hands after the game and share a beer or two.
How I miss the simplicity of those days.

A quick search has suggested that it was actually an injury to the other knee, not the one that keane hit, that caused Haaland to retire.
However, I don't think being called a cheat is a reason for tackling someone in that manner. In fact, I can't think of any reasons for doing that on purpose.
Biting is just ridiculous though even if it is less dangerous. You have to have something wrong with you if you are an adult and you think biting people is acceptable.
I agree VC.
I can understand the mentality too to an extent. To wait four years to do it all because someone accused you of faking an injury is a bit much though!

Keane was trying to foul Haaland at the time and instead injured himself.
You have to have something wrong with you if you are an adult and you think biting people is acceptable.

Where as attempting to "do him" is a-okay?
The bottom line is that if a manager accuses me of faking injury I will not accept it. And I won't accept it to the day I die.
I've had my differences with thousands of people, including Sir Alex, but I'm humble enough to apologise if I've done something wrong. And yes, I apologised to him.
I'd waited long enough. I f ****** hit him hard. The ball was there (I think). Take that you c***. And don't ever stand over me sneering about fake injuries.
Even in the dressing room afterwards, I had no remorse. My attitude was, f *** him. What goes around comes around. He got his just rewards. He f ***** me over and my attitude is an eye for an eye.
