I was considering making the same article. I am gutted we have missed out on him as I think he is a terrific player..but where can you see him playing?
Arsenal will finish in top 4 (standard)
Where I don't know.
Sanchez will probably be used on the right with Walcott up front I imagine.
Khedira is a possibility in midfield as well

Sanchez will be converted to RB to replace Sagna
Walcott is still out, so initially I see him on the right.
With Walcott back I can see Alexis playing from the left, but he will also get games up front.
We have a lot of flexibility in the attacking areas, and all will get significant game time (bar perhaps Podolski who may find chances limited if we can have a bit of success on the health front)
He will start out on the Right wing as Wallcot is out for the start of the season. He is very versatile could play on the Left wing if needed too. Pod or Cazorla has been ineffective on the left wings. I expect Giroud to be our main striker...as season goes by hopefully someone out performs him and displaces him from first team.
DM in necessary..Khedira, Schidrin have been linked..also a new CB if Verm moved to Man UTD
Everyone will be rotated everywhere such is our fluidity up top

I imagine that he'd play up front if everyone was fit, with Walcott and Cazorla either side of Özil. At the start of the season we might see him play out wide more, with Walcott injured and Özil likely to be rested for the first couple of games after a busy world cup.
The main thing is that it gives us depth and options. Poldi and Cazorla are going nowhere, so we have them as well as Theo, Ox, Campbell and Sanchez as options out wide with Campbell, Walcott, Sanchez and Poldi also available as options centrally as well as Giroud and Sanogo (gulp).
He'll play up front,
No chance we'll spend 32M on a winger to chip in with a few goals.
We've been giving teams an easy ride by playing Giroud, no more.
Also, we will strengthen are midfield with some muscle, Bender or even the other german guy.
Frankly, I think we will have a very good season if we make these signings.
No chance we'll spend 32M on a winger to chip in with a few goals.

Man utd, Liverpool and Chelsea have already strengthened substantially
--------------------------
Not wanting to cause an argument but at this point I don't see Manchester United or Liverpool as having improved substantially.
Man U have made a decent start but the signings of Herrera and Shaw don't really worry me. You need to do some more business to make me think you can challenge for the title again. United really need to improve in central defence, defensive midfield and on the wings. I don't know what Herrera's role will be and you won't win the League buy replacing a decent left back with a decent left back. Van Persie could well have another injury ravaged season and Rooney will be Rooney, look good for a while, will look bad for a while, will get a pay rise anyway. Mata and Kagawa will look at each other not knowing where they play.
Liverpool have bought a few Southampton players that I can't see making their way into any other top 5 starting eleven. They have lost their best player by a country mile. Right now Liverpool are a worse outfit than they were when they finished the last season. Now they also have CL to contend with. Liverpool will do a Spurs nose dive if you ask me and questions will be asked of Rodgers.
Chelsea, let's wait and see. Costa is a bit of an enigma, even Chelsea fans would probably admit it could go either way with him. Will he be Drogba? Will he be Shevchenko? And Fabregas under Mourinho? Just going to have to wait and see how it works out. Again could work amazingly, could end up with him being benched by Christmas if he doesn't track back enough (no more back heals in your own box Cesc mate).
Arsenal haven't confirmed any signings yet so I don't consider anyone improving that much. As it stands I think Arsenal and Chelsea will definitely make the top four and one of Liverpool and United will take the other spot, probably Liverpool will drop out while their new team gels and they have to learn to live without Suarez. City at the moment look the best team by a mile.

Let the Liverpool fans justify how they will be a better team without last years player of the year and top goal scorer. Just like Spurs did last year with Bale. Just how we did when we lost Fabregas and RVP. We all know how it will actually turn out, so they can laugh it up.
Whats the hate for Pod? He is our best finisher and needs to be given a run of games up front when fit. He has started maybe a handful of games up front if that.
No chance does Podolski deserve a run of games up front. He is a deeper forward or left sided attacker. Has never played the main role successfully.
^ Agree, if Suarez goes then Liverpool will struggle to make top 4 again
