And....
@chrislepkowski: Reports in France claim Newcastle are making progress with Monaco re Riviere. Bad news for #wba if so. Albion were confident of landing him

Newcastle will probably offer him £60,000 a week without batting an eyelid.
Newcastle do indeed have much deeper pockets.
As usual, it's about the pecking order.
I'm not bothered if we're at the bottom of the pecking order as long as we're not in the bottom 3 of the table.

I'm not confident that won't happen tbh. But pointless stressing until the window closes.
Just disappointing to see exciting players (Cresswell/Rivière) slip through our grasp and average players (Baird/Gardner) arrive.
Anyway,
The frogs (bit racist)....love Newcy
There he can bop about to Daft Punk with:

Yoan Gouffran - striker signed January 2013 from Bordeaux
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa ,- defender signed January 2013 from Montpellier
Romain Amalfitano - midfielder signed July 2012 from Stade de Reims
Massadio Haidara - defender signed January 2013 from Nancy
Sylvain Marveaux - midfielder signed June 2011 from Rennes
Gabriel Obertan - midfielder signed August 2011 from Manchester United

There's no guarantee Cresswell will be a success. Mattock was supposedly one of the best full backs outside the Prem but couldn't make the step up. Either way we can't afford £7 million plus 5 years wages on a left back.
I'd love us to sign Riviere and who knows, it may still happen. I reckon the Loic Remy situation could influence where he goes.

Yeh. At least we've got lots of exciting talent to wear it.

Love it! The only let down is the socks
I also think the sponsor's logo looks OK. Not too in-your-face.
The rest is cack!
" A more traditional navy-blue-and-white-striped shirt will return for 2015/16" say Albion on their website.
They've soon got the message.
Love it. Gonna buy 10 and make a duvet cover out of it (them).
That duvet cover is going to set you back £450 Tez!
I really don't mind it. Still kinda looks Albion.
