As far as I can tell it's been because our physio department is run by gibbons. We don't have the biggest of squads, and when every player that gets injured seems to be out for at least a month, that can really take its toll.

Arsenal won't win it because City and Chelsea are better sides. We have this debate every single season over whether Arsenal will win the title and they haven't for almost a decade.
Funnily enough they sound an awful lot like Liverpool fans before we realised the title was a pipe dream.
I think you've definitely got the players, but have you got the mentality to get over the line? Is this mental disintegration your achilles heal?

That has been an issue, although what absolutely killed Arsenal last season was key injuries at key times. Having Walcott out for the best part of a season (he was flying when he was fit) and Ramsey crocked for the all crucial final run in (he came back for the last month and showed us what we were missing) pretty much ruined what looked like the first genuine shot at a title in years!
It's keeping players fit that's been a long standing Achilles heel in my poinion.
We are a world class CDM and striker away from competing in the league.
We will then have enough quality in squad depth to compete as well.
Injuries / tactics / bottlejobs / refs
Same as usual.
I would say what prevented us was the next trophies mental block and lack of world class match winners in the mould of suarez, toure etc. Both have been addressed and hopefully will continue to be
Gifting our rivals 4-6 points + a healthy goal dif every season doesn't help.
Our style of play doesn't suit our players at the moment. With Per Mert we can't play a slow build up style moving the whole team forward which is what we seem to try.
If we're gonna play Per then we need to sit deep and counter - Walcott and Sanchez will help.
If we're gonna play possession then Mert must be replaced by a faster CB.
Injuries and a lack of bite in Midfield also destroys our chances.
But what do you think may stop you from doing so?
Our injury list
Nah. City play better attractive football.
We scored more, conceeded less than you last season.
You have to surpass that while avoiding the annual collapse around Feb/March to stand a chance to win the PL.
Above all, you need mental strength. Remember when we had to win at Goodison last season after Gerrard's slip and we did it ugly. That's one thing you still lack.
Arsenal's football was largely unattractive last season, bar a few flashes of sheer brilliance (around the time of the Wilshere vs Norwich goal) we were very laboured in our build up.
During our long winning streaks it was more of a oldschool United style, play badly but winning "is the sign of Champions" (although that wasn't really mentioned).
City were far more attractive and Liverpool were far more attractive than City.
I've got the feeling City will be the best side to watch next season as last season they were transitioning from a very boring and defensive set up under Mancini.
injuries and tactics will stop us again.
I think losing Walcott and Ramsey were killer blows. the rest of the team didn't step up for long enough and you were mentally fragile when it mattered most. I think beefing up your squad with quality players will make a huge difference.
What's stopping you winning the title?

I think mental frailty will scupper Arsenal again. The boss just can't get them going after Christmas.
It's bloody Wengers fault cause of his signing policy.
I know that no one want's a Wenger bashing on the back of a good signing but it's true imo.
He starts the season with a well structured starting 11.
Then you look at his bench and he has nothing.
Might as well not have a bench for all the dross that has sat there in the past. If we had quality in depth we might of been able to lift the title last season. But a handful of injuries left us with no one capable of turning a game around or putting one to bed half the time.
The annual end of season collapse is a bit of a myth though isn't it.
In the last 3 seasons, taking the last 10 games of each season, we've lost 3 out of 30 games.
2 last season
0 2012/2013
1 2011/2012
Last season aside, it's silly points dropped early in the season that cause the most damage and we tend to go on a really good run towards the end to secure 4th.
Not that the end result is any different mind.
It's simple, up until now City, Utd & Chelsea have outspent us to a MASSIVE degree.
Now that spending gap is narrowing so we have an outside chance, but we still don't have the spending power that you have.
It's not brain surgery
If you look at Atletico and Liverpool's performances last season the 'we can't compete with oil money' argument doesn't really work.
Apparently, according to some on here, the team that spends the most on transfers wins the league. END OF !
