More chance of sleeping well if they're in their own bed.
Would hope that Cellino leads by example and spends more time in Leeds, especially if he is telling players they have to live there, which of course is the right thing to do.
'Team together night before game'
I'm sure continental clubs operate this way.
It's how clubs operate in England before FA Cup etc.
American sports teams do this. MC lives in the
US and Italy. I would bet this is normal practice to him.
I have no problem with it. The lads are pros. It should
not matter one bit. And I would suggest, this is a good
move. Team unity and all that. I'm sure some will paint it as an infringement of the lad's civil liberties. Not me.
Get on with becoming a team, the way he wants it.
On living within 30 minutes of the club. Why not?
Makes sense. It's a hassle for those with kids in schools. They'll have to move. However, a pros life
isn't exactly normal. They are transient by nature. It's
part of being a pro footballer. They are wired to know
they might be moving on at any time. So, again, get on
with moving closer.
Wonder if this was one of Ross's issues?
Brilliant idea and we should only sign players willing to show this much professionalism because that's what it means (a little bit of dedication to their work). It's not like they don't get paid enough.
Didn't BM want this last year too?
Don't see any issue with this, these guys are professionals that get plenty of free time and great wages, sleeping away from home before games with the rest of the team won't have any effect on them
Sounds like a good idea, typically what happens when they play away ().
Predictably there's one finding issues with it
We're moving forward, so should you mate. It's refreshing, it's bloody good news.
I'm hoping the newbies help Cellino strike gold or it'll be hell on here.
I can't to see Wakey's reaction to all of this!!
" sleeping away from home before games with the rest of the team won't have any effect on them"
You can take Team bonding too far
I think Don Revie had similar ideas - loved to get the team away together on any pretext
Makes sense, maybe they will build the Leeds spirit thAt has been so lacking
Incidentally BM wanted players to live nearby but I bet he never enforced it
Also looks like he is buying a team bus
..........
Because he don't like renting when he can own like buying ER back when rent finishes in November.i we are not top of championship come jan transfer window then expect 2 or 3 qaulity players brought in.i love cellino.
Hock said couple of days ago that the club is being run like a continental club.
It's so funny watching Jonty trying to find negatives about MC on every poistive thread.
LMAO
None of the current ones will need to move home if they pass their bike tests

Players turning up late for games? I know there might be an element of exaggeration but if that's true it seems like discipline wasn't as it should be.
A harder taskmaster is clearly the order of the day.
