If we have the chance to get Wilson back on loan we should grab this - I am only interested in getting the best team on the pitch for the Gers

we hardly lost out on this tranfer - £5 mil for a teenager (after appearances) in the SPL is a good deal, I also wonder when £5 mil was dangled how much say the bank had in him going to Pool or not !!!!

He jumped ship because he's a good Tim.

Used yeez as a stepping stone to a proper football club.

I see where your coming from Scooby we would have sold the boy even if he wanted to stay as it was right for the club at the time. Just sticks in my throat he made no comment stating he wanted to stay infact it was the opposite he said he wanted to go. As I said I'd rather have guys who want to play for the club not deciding they want to come back coz it's not going well.

Vic is there such thing as a good Tim?

scooby

that might be true about the banks influence on the transfer but he has not played alot of games at a high level and would only be a squad player assuming we get bartley
i would rather we went with bartley and weir and use the younger bears from Murray park as cover-what i have seen come out of there last year if good enough for me-ness wylde hutton little fleck and there was another kid -cant remember his name for now

I think with Whittaker / Weir / Bartley (hopefully) / Broadfoot / Sasa we should have a fair back line. Agree with you Allyshere if he did come in it would be as a bench warmer.

Personally i wouldn't touch him. Why train him only to let him go back to the kop. I'd sooner bring through one of our own youngsters. At least Bartley seems to have bought into the rangers way.

People are being very harsh on Wilson. I was disappointed when he left but come on it was Liverpool and there is no way our board wasn't going to take a potential £5m for a teenager. Martin Bain would have tied him up and driven him down there no matter what Wilson would want. Remember Hutton?

I'll be delighted if we get Wilson for a year (at least). He is a top class youngster and I'd replace Boogie with him right now.
