Can anybody explain to me what it is about Liverpool, the city and the club, that brings out so much hatred in others? Some are even driven to make up childish names just to show their hatred.

I wasnt born in Liverpool but I live close and love the city and most of the people living there.

I would genuinely like to know, I find it rather amusing tbh, hating someone based on geography or their choice of team to support or their accent is just plain stupid and small minded.

That Same factors that tipped the balance for Chelsea helped Arsenal with Sanchez transfer. If both teams are willing to pay his desired wages, Its inevitable that he move to the club in London. Neither Arsenal or LFC are main attractions for South American players. Lets be honest here, Not many Chilian kids grow up dreaming about playing for Arsenal or Liverpool.

Doubt anyone here genuinely hates the city or it's inhabitants, however, the majority of Scouse fans on here are unique, and not good unique (see Terminator1 as example) incapable of just having a teasing session without resorting to blind fury.

They are quite touchy and regularly ban people from their board (as do the gooners) rather than ignoring or dismissing those that are not blinkered by Scouselove.

I got banned for saying Cardboard Kenny (because, when Liverpool were sinking, he kept saying the same thing in interviews. I said they may as well get a Cardboard Kenny cut-out and play a recording of his previous interview. Moyes did the same)

Stealing cars, stealing charity bikes, stealing the Kop from Arsenal, stealing Anfield from Everton. In fact, stealing just about everything.

They have had some great players, great managers and some absolutely amazing nights football wise, where does the inferiority fury come from?

My point is. Sanchez had a look at the manager then the players and the money they were offering him. Then come other things location, etc.

London maybe a tipping factor when all the other aspects are close.
But choosing Arsenal over Liverpool is a no brainer. Better manager, better players, more money, etc.
Just makes me laugh seeing bitter Scousers claim it was merely down to location.

A lot of this hatred has come from Liverpool because of Anfield 89'. Hansen, Nicol, Thompson still show bitterness. Even Michael Owen who wouldn't remember that cold spring night is jumping on the ''Bitter at Anfield 89' bandwagon.
