Yes, but is keeping him as back up a sensible option considering the other CBs available?
How would you rank in amongst our 4 CBs?
Is he any better than Vertonghen, Chirches or even Kaboul?
Also if we do bring in another CB, and we certainly have to IMO, who will/should leave?

It's got to go to Kaboul really, after that I'd say Hugo or even Eriksen. Keep them around as long as possible

Kaboul for me, hopefully most of the serious injury problems are behind him and had a run of games at end of last season. With a good pre-season under his belt he should come back stronger and was a monster player the season before (maybe 2, my memory is going!) It's hard to trust your own body when coming back from that kind of injury, but hope now he's had more time to assess it he can get back to the level of form he was at and looking like captain material at the time.
Apart from that, the only other 2 would be Vertonghen or Sandro if they could find form and lead by example, the rest are either too mild mannered, too inexperienced, or not guaranteed enough playing time to have the role offered to them.
Ade as captain and BAE as vice captain

Lloris is captain material for france as he is probably very commanding in french but he is not a leader at a spurs. Ive seen him he is so quiet within the squad. Amazing professional though very serious in training.
Maybe its not him being just quiet? Could it be that he was just shell shocked at our defensive efforst last season?
