World of Warcraft or The N*gger Guy are, off the top of my head, my favourite two episodes. Both have Cartman and Randy at their best.
The chilli cook off episode.

Can't argue with that. First time I watched the WoW episode I was playing it at the same time .... I know.
N*gger guy is amazing.
Favourite South Park episode for me was the one about the economic crisis, which linked into the story of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. It's call Margaritaville.
It is/was topical and incredibly clever the way they link the economic downturn to the story of Jesus and it's absolutely hilarious. Political too so...

Never liked Family Guy, The Simpsons from around season 2-10 were some of the best television ever, not just animated; the stories, the humour, the characters, brilliant.
Family Guy is very different and not my cup of tea at all, just a collection of individual jokes that have no structure or depth. South Park summed up Family Guy perfectly with the manatees. The animation is also really boring.
South Park also had it's golden period from around season 8-14. Some of their episodes were so on point, watched the Kanye Fish sticks one the other day, still so f-cking good.
Family Guy "Road to..." Episodes are quality (basically Stewie and Brian episodes).

They have a habit of doing that. Taking things like elections, and combining them with pop culture (i.e. things like Game of Thrones, different types of music & film, etc). It's the main reason why the 'newer' episodes are often better than the originals which had pretty much no plot.
Then you have things like Kyle's mom's a bítch, which is a lyrical masterpiece

Aye that one is quality. 'Do you like to put fish sticks in your mouth'
'Well, then you're a gay fish'
The multiverse episodes of Family Guy are probably the best ones. Much more inventive.

Yeah, they are part of the "Road to..." series of episodes.

I never got why people found the 'Peter vs Chicken' fights in Family Guy funny. They seemed to last for hours, and were just boring and shíte

But it's Peter Griffin. Fighting a chicken! What's not to like?! It's so funny! HAHAHAHAHA. So random, it's hilarious!
I swear, any time I tell someone that Family Guy isn't funny they come back with a response similar to that. It's ridiculous.
Yeah it isn't funny, but if it's on, I'll watch it. Usually coz there's fúck all better on. I don't get how Family Guy can be so bad, when American Dad is at least twice as good as it - I think it's under rated.
Sorry but Homer is by far the best TV cartoon character ever.
Family Guy (from the little I've seen) just isn't particularly well thought out will little imagination. Both Family Guy and Simpsons love to reference popular culture but Simpsons do it with so much more creativity.
The difference that springs to mind is the reference to the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Family Guy basically just copied it with a lame joke stuck on the end where as The Simpsons really turned it into something different and fun.
American Dad is definitely better than Family Guy.

FG and Simpsons have done a combined episode, which is due to air sometime in September. Just highlights how desperate both have become. Personally I think both were brilliant at their best, but they've gone downhill so fast.
South Park is the best of them all. The way they parody anything and everything is just absolute genius.

You couldn't beat The Simpsons at its best, it was just fantastic. The new ones are just shîte, relying on celebrity appearances. The show should have ended after the 10th series but nope America just don't know when to stop (see big bang theory).
