we won him a world cup medal, he should be happy with a lot less

Reports are that its the agent getting in the way

Khedira spent the day doing the parade with the squad so I don't think his attention is on negotiations right now

League titles cost big money.

Cough up or stay 4th

Sources say the deal is definitely off, wage demand too high and Arsenal won't upset their wage structure. Looks like Khedira actually wants to go to Chelsea. He certainly doesn't deserve to be the highest-paid player at Arsenal regardless of what his wife tells him.

Not that bothered about him especially if he is asking for silly wages. For less money I think that we can actually do better.

I wouldn't pay him anymore than a 100k a week.

What would you employ him to do? Gardening? Bit of housework?

He's not worth 100k let alone 150k. He's injury prone and has come back from a big injury similar to theo, would be a risk for any club paying huge money on him.

Khedira is a smokescreen for Ahmed Fathi

So £5.2M is not enough per year. Only a salary of closer to £8M will do?

Dirty mug. He can get lost. It's a great career move for him, not just Arsenal.

Drop the interest. Get Bender. End of.

After releasing 11 players from our club this summer and being one of the richest clubs in the world, we can pay Sami Khedira's wages easily. We can have 3 Sami Khedira's if we want. We'll be a dominant force in Europe next season, no team will stop us.

We should drop the khedira deal asap and move in for schneiderlin, younger, fitter, less expensive and more tailored to what we need in mf

What sources?

I must admit Khedira's fleeting good performances during the world cup were quite seductive but I've seen him many a time put in a poor shift for Real Madrid. In the cold light of day I am still not convinced by him - despite the outrageous wage demands.

Lars Bender is where our hopes should lay.

And to stop us us having him.

Chelsea will keep throwing £20 notes at him till he agrees to join.

According to Marca Khedira wants £105k a week and we want to offer £90k a week.

Which idiot was spreading the unbelievable bull £200k a week rumours?
