The Fans wanted a statue outside the ground.
Not on the pitch
I don't know what anyone would be against it
If Chelsea are happy and Drogba is happy then who cares, hes a club legend and will always be a club legend.
not wanting him back cuz you think some memory if him as a player somehow holds less weight is a bit odd.
I was having the argument with Superb the other day about bringing in a player who is happy to be 3rd choice as a striker and the difficulties of that.
having Didier in that position for a year is perfect.
I didn't mention legacy etc.
I just don't wanna go backwards.
It's how i feel and i'm not telling anyone to agree with me.

no I know
Im not arguing im just offering an opinion, I have seen a lot of people saying they don't want him back
but as a business and playing a business sense I would rather bring in Didier than spend 8m on Remy
Didier's wages can also be absorbed into the coaching wage budget thus not effecting FFP. it makes perfect sense.

That's on the wall at The Daily Fail sports department
If he joins then he will make sure that Costa never settles as drogba will keep him in his shadow.
I agree completely with this. I really don't want him back as a player.
Drogba will be the coach in charge of diving!
