Quality.

That is a cool shirt for a QPR fan. But I think zamora's part in the goal is over rated. He could hardly miss!!!!

The real credit should go to Keogh. His control and vision were excellent. It was a world class lay off!

I think it's fair to say no Keogh = no goal!

That's an eyesore although I suppose you'd want something to celebrate making it to the PL with the publicity he's getting for that horridness he'll probably get Zamora and poss the squad to sign it for him.

(Note:DR for someone that has complained about Derby fans posting on your board you don't half go on about us)

Hey Derbymanc, congrats on George, he is a good player.

I posted as it's on the forest board. I feel I added something to the entry re the shirt.

I am not sure it's fair for you to come into a forest thread on a forest board and complain that forest fans are posting. As a derby fan you must admit that is a bit crazy right?

I've said it before DR I'm happy for Forest fans to post on the Derby board, I like the banter and it adds to the game for me.

What I find annoying/hypocritical is posters complaining/reporting people for other fans posting on their boards and then posting remarks directly about the other club and acting 'surprised' when the other sides fans comment.

I personally think that things like this should go on both boards as it's a bit of a dig, a bit of fun that we can all have the crack over.

<hugs>

DerbyManc, I don't think there is anything remotely hypocritical about complaining about a core of juvenile repetitive clowns that post almost continually on our boards (not all that do and not you). Then reply on a thread which relates to Derby but is actually on the Forest boards only.

posted on 21/7/14

This is from a QPR fan so I don't see any problem with it, that goal may be their most important ever so he's got a very good reason to celebrate it.

posted on 21/7/14

I get that Ray and it's well within your boards users right to do that.

And I've no issue with the original article by Webbo, Beardys reply or the first part of DR's reply BUT as someone that has complained about Derby fans on the board DR shouldn't have added the second bit about Keogh as it's done to draw someone in (or is someone being a bit of a prat).

It all kicked off last time with things like that and as I mentioned (I can't remember if it was to Webbo or Cannigia) but we need more debate on here between the fans and more laughs not more reasons to sling abuse.

It's in response to the subject, he's not gone over to your boards and posted it a fair bit. He's got a point as well, Zamora's finish was good but didn't have tons to do from there.

posted on 21/7/14

You're on the Forest boards wading through Backo and cos garbage looking for Forest fan content to pick at. You're not being coached by you know who are you? These are his boards...

posted on 21/7/14

As I said the first bit was in response to the subject, the second was pure flame bait which could have resulted in a mass melt down and half of you complaining that's what I was posting about.

It's a ballache when good threads get ruined with stuff like that and if it's avoidable it's even more so.

posted on 21/7/14

And I don't understand the last comment. I've addressed this today already but I don't post for anyone or follow anyone, I make my own decisionson what i'll post on.

You're nit picking at a jokey comment not even on the Derby boards. We're surrounded by your more moronic element on these boards, I don't see why you have a problem with someone not remotely doing the same. You may claim to be an individual but you seem to be doing a diluted version on what our self appointed sheep moderator likes to.

posted on 22/7/14

Ray - I agree.

The 'sheep moderator' you refer to moderated on his own selective terms only. In doing so they ignore / join in with nonsense from fellow derby fans on the Forest board yet attempt to condemn / gain some higher moral ground whenever a Forest fan responds in kind.

Such people attempt to claim the higher moral ground but are really doing little more than falling into the 'them and us' trap thus losing the credibility they so desire. I think derbymanc8 is heading the same way by seeing himself as some sort of self-appointed arbiter - when it suits him.

I posted this on the Forest board. I could of easily posted on the Derby board too but as you say it would of resulted in meltdown. I enjoy good banter on here. I avoid the idiots most of the time.

There are some good Derby posters. You manc, seem ok, 666 is always up for banter and sometimes constructive stuff. Milf is ok in small doses too. I tend no to venture over onto your board so much. I do occasionally and sometimes my comments are well received.

As for the pic in my OP. I was thinking of paint shopping it and putting Keogh's face in the place of that QPR fan.

Anyway.... everyone chill

I'm not really sure why you don't see be able to grasp something so simple.

1. You have complained in the past about us posting on your board.

2. Webbo posts a funny little picture regarding a QPR fan's daft shirt design

3. You then mention Derby players/Derby in a post (prodding the ram so to speak)

4. You would then act all shocked and indignant if any of the Rams fans took umbridge and started taking the pee back.

5. You would then complain to admin, or start posting everywhere that us terrible terrible Derby fans are ruining your thread, not seeing the fact that there was no need for the post mentioning Derby in the first place.

It's hypocritical and shows your true colours. My stance is and always has been if you can't take it then don't post it.

Webbo I said you SHOULD have posted this on both boards, I don't see a problem with it in the slightest and if anyone takes offence at it then they need to get a bit thicker skin and probably stay off message boards.

Ray/DR, the pair of you have complained about Derby fans in the past posting, if you don't like it then don't goad them. If you going to do that don't act like a baby if they come over and start a row.

And finally, if you actually thought that no Derby fan would read/see this then your either being really immature or blinkered.

Dm8: what you fail to appreciate is the fact that a) I do not post on derby boards and b) my comments are invariably a RESPONSE to wummery from derby fans on the Forest board.

An example including your good self who, for some strange reason, decided to take vicarious offence at my mocking 666 for not going to Wembley. Again, what you neglected to consider was the default position 666 took previously by wrongfully accusing certain Forest fans of 'never having been to a game' and therefore having no right to an opinion. Again, a RESPONSE to derby nonsense on the Forest board in which you decided to involve yourself.

In short, if you spent as much time policing your fellow sheep such as 666, Igor, Backo, etc you'd end up like 666: housebound and tied to your computer. But why would you?

manc

I knew the Forest board regulars (from your mob) would see it. To be fair they've restrained themselves.

Sometimes, it is a shame that some posters (from both sides) ruin a decent thread. By trying to spoil good debate it drives away posters that want to discuss football but find that there is little point when other posters wreck a sensible thread.

My OP was to have a bit of fun.

I have just wandered over onto your board just to see how many Forest fans actually post on there. I expected more if I'm honest. I also note that a match thread is having political remarks thrown at it because Derby are playing a Russian team.

This will be a match that has been planned well in advance and would only disrupt preseason plans if you were to cancel at last minute.

Fire Bait

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is Webbo a sorcerer, or a dragon with his "fire bait"?

I think the time I did see him, he did have a long grey beard, Staff and Pointy Hat

I've complained about certain conduct which ends up all over our boards and ruins any chance of discussion in multiple threads which are by the most part, are not related. You are looking at this from a fairly simplistic black and white view point.

It almost sounds like you are suggesting that I shouldn't be able to ever mock Derby County matters on the Forest boards, because I haven't liked the way some of your "contributors" behave on here. I would also like to add that I haven't really done that anyway here.

Sorry it's VERY obvious that we're doing the same as the bits we complain about and you're trying to police Forest fans on our own boards. We've already got people doing that from your supporter base, try looking at the Leicester fans posting habits or even your own.

I saw something pretty low on Twitter yesterday from a Derby fan who's done similar and worse in the past. Do you want me to point you at that if you need a fix of authority?

posted on 22/7/14

* Sorry it's VERY obvious that we're not doing the same

You've seem fairly decent in general banter DerbyManc, steer clear of this type of thing.

At the end of the day it’s a public forum and me personally I welcome fans of other clubs views and banter. I don’t normally post on the Forest board but I regularly read it as I do all the other Championship clubs that have a big enough collective on here

Maybe if someone is offended by a rival fans view or banter they are not suited to public forums?!!?

I see regular Forest fans on the Derby boards, some of them I read as they seem fairly knowledgeable, some are mildly amusing and some I just plain ignore

The Leeds board is the most entertaining the amount of internal arguments they have 

For me, it's just a few individuals and I'm choosing to filter them at the present time. The rest are OK to be honest
