Do SoD and RoK still have the same desire? That is a very difficult question to answer, mainly because, in SoD's case there is never much difference between sad and elated, his expression changes little.
It is very hard to tell. I do know that it seems that Sod being number one on every other clubs list when they need a new manager seems to have dried up. That must say something as the 606 boards were full every time SoD's name did come up.

Even people now calling for his head, ( me included), were pleased at the recognition, but not wanting him to go. Times change and I think that is what has happened in SoD's case, his lack of results, for whatever reason, injuries, no plan B, poor tactical decisions etc have led to clubs putting him on the back burner.

I do think that he needs a change of environment for his own needs to be brought to fruition. He needs a club where money is available to see what he can achieve when not held to financial restraints as at Bournmouth and the Rovers.

As to who would replace SoD, that is for the Board to decide, as they would be the ones receiving the CV's and doing the interviews.

I think the club needs someone with a larger personality, and one who praises his own players instead of always saying how well the opposition played, but here again that is MY opinion.

Maybe the Board has to back SoD if they want him to stay, by putting some of their cash at his disposal, we still have Directors with large personal wealth whch they must invest if they are to keep the club where we are.

Whatever the outcome, whether SoD stays or leaves, the club has to get back on the winning track. We have the players who can do this and they need to step up to the plate, because, if not then we are definitely on the slippery slope to Div One and lower.

Bally i dont believe he will ever rub shoulders with the premier leagues top managers as the things that let him down are what youve stated already. yeah people will say but burnley WERE chasing him but thats because they couldnt afford a top class manager so had to go for someone of the cheaper option FACT! its always the same why do people always throw wolves into the hat just because he's from there? somethings wrong somewhere that other chairman at that level see

Hey Azza

Mickmopon asks Sean to do the honourable thing. From what I understand the stumbling block to the alternative is paying his contract either in bulk or weekly.

Wouldn't be at all surprised Say Lavee. If you get a foot of snow at the beginning of December, anything is possible.

Thanks Donny Lass, I made that mistake earlier, yes it's Palace and Hull. You'll be surprised what old age can do for you. As I've told Mick, I now feel like and old man, trouble is I can't find one Ha! Ha!.

That's the trouble, as they say, youth is wasted on the young. At least by carrying on working I can at least make myself feel I am not now a pensioner. Over here they cannot make you retire asa you can sue for ageism. I don't like how they sue for everything, but I'll take advantage of it!!!

Fair play

I quite enjoy being middle aged tbh. I have a far better time then when I was a teenager/twentysomething

But in my head part of me is 18

The where there's a blame there's a claim culture isn't good, creates loads of paperwork But if you want to work then you should be able to work!

The big difference setween here and back home is that you can sue someone and get an out of court settlement. Even if you go to court you are not responsible for the other person's costs. Hence the woman who sue McDonald's because they didn't tell her the coffe was hot. It's ridiculous, but it's the way they do it, a so it's not up to me to argue.
