So because an Italian newspaper has said that he isn't going to united that's it
One word springs to mind
NAIEVE
I never believed he was coming, but your article is wrong. This is what he said:
Vidal was interviewed exclusively by Sky Sport. The future? “I’m still on vacation, we’ll see starting from tomorrow. Allegri? I haven’t heard from him or from my teammates yet. I don’t know yet if I’ll stay, I have to speak with Allegri first, but I’m happy here.”

What word?
meh,I dont think he was ever a target.
another newspaper said he was coming though...
So conflicted, so confused... arrgghhhh
How can two journalists say two completely opposite things... Has that ever happened before?
arrrggghhh
How is that confirming he's not coming?
The naive ones here are those getting their hopes up that we might sign Vidal
Haven't you guys learnt anything from the past summers regarding us and being linked to world class midfielders??
Not saying he won't come, he mignt. But getting your hopes up and actually believing we will sign him is what I call, NAIVE
Did some of you really think one of the cms around would just happily leave not cl? maybe he would, but i doubt it

I haven't said he will come, nor do I think he will come however to take an Italian newspaper or any newspaper for that matter as gospel is simply ridiculous.

Tbh I think I prefer strootman anyway
He's younger, van Gaal knows exactly how to use him, he'd cost half the price (maybe a tad more), Dutch players tend to do well in the Prem
Him and Herrera are both 24, they could be our CM partnership for the next 6+ years.
Strootman is the missing link in midfield. LVG probably waiting a few weeks to see if a deal can be done. He is back in training now.
Think he will buy 2 from De Vrij, Blind, Vermalen and maybe even an exciting player like Cuadrado
even an exciting player like Cuadrado.

Exciting? the guy played like the winger version of Felliani in the WC.
James Horncastle @JamesHorncastle 7m
Vidal exits the airport. SI reporter keeps pushing: Are you staying? But are staying? Vidal: I don’t know. I don’t know. I’m happy here”

You can tell by the body language that he wants the guy to píss off. What's he gonna say "Ahh yea, hopefully I can get a mega bucks deal, if not, i'll stay".
Going to Manchester? "No, no"
This is what was asked and what he replied. The quotes doesn't close the door on a transfer but tbf it doesn't open one either. I think we expressed interest and that was that. He's this years Ozil/Sneijder/Thiago etc.

I'd rather believe the Daily Star and The Sun on United's transfer rumours than untrustworthy unknown media outlets. There's nothing worse than a newspaper telling bull5hit stories just to try to sell more copies.
