Your bit about only Jews commiting atrocities in the last 1000 years is clear rubbish. Hitlers Na zi Germany was Christian and they were they biggest nutters of modern times.

Jews have historically been the victims of racial and religious persecution. There is one aspect I like about Jews is that they don't forcibly convert others to their religion. They generally do not flaunt their religious beliefs in public. With regard to religion, most are moderate or nonpracticing. My mistake, although I would have to disagree citing Israel-Palestine conflict though he already said he didn't count that as an atrocity... which does seem a little strange.

Yeah the Jewish people suffered a lot of persecution for a long time. Felt sorry for them reading about it all.... ironically Europe had been worse for it with Jews for a long time before Israel was founded...

Trouble is, I believe they do the complete opposite, their religion is completely exclusive (you cannot become/convert to being Jewish) and they believe that only they will get into heaven - which is, I suspect, the main reason they've always got up the noses of other god-fearing types. In other words, tough títs lads, you weren't born Jewish, you're going to hell.

Actually, this is not true, you can convert, but it's difficult and takes a long time - and you have to be 'accepted'; they even have a special word for people not born into, but converted to, Judaism. Which is nice.

I believe the Jews did convert, originally they would have needed to to make it grow (at least i assume, cab anyone confirm?) but I believe they did some converting early on in their time in Europe.

How long did it take Ali G's missus to convert?

You can convert, but it is very difficult - verging on the impossible in certain parts of the world.

Cal probably the best one to ask...

Did the Jews have quite a few converts from other religions in Europe when they went there?

What if your born to a pair of converts?

So if i publicly announced i'd converted to judaism and set up a shed synagogue for convert Jews who aren't allowed into normal synagogues - What would happen?

They want to establish an Islamic state. Although I suspect just like every other war, it's all to do with man's worship of money and power rather than any actual god of any sort.
