Should really confuse the sat navs.

Naming Forest's ground after a country run by a bunch of feudal despots fits in well with their moral compass. He could name it the "We pay our debts stadium" but would be in breach of the trades discription act.

Having failed to stamp any Kuwaiti influence on the pitch he stamps it all over the ground.

This has a funny smell to it.

It's all about providing sponsorship money to allow the club to meet FFP requirements, if it is indeed true at all. Makes for interesting debate, though, which may have been the intention.

I find all the talk of moral compasses amusing from fans of club who were once owned by Maxwell. 😉

Allowing Foreigners to come in to English football and changing a footballing culture which has stood the test of time for a 130 years or more and all for greed, sums up this dump of a country to a tee.

Our foreign owners are doing a decent job.

Will, we all cheered when Maxwell died as we saw through him long before he decided to go for a moonlight swim. We also protested against the three amigos. The difference between Forest and Derby fans is that when coming across something nasty on the pavement Derby fans will walk round it or try and clean it up while the Forest fans want to roll in it. Note how very few of you said a word about BD and cousin Jim until BD was sacked.

Spart, there were a lot of saying things about Billy a long time before he was sacked. A deluded few weren't.and Derby fans in general, how would this be any different to you having the iPro?

No different SHH other than iPro is a drink that no one has heard of and Kuwait is a foreign country ruled by a despotic family. Shouldn't really be a country, just created by the British to ensure the oil was secured for BP.

Hahaha, this is hilarious, all the sheep suddenly taking the moral high ground just because we are attracting investment. Really, just run along please, jealousy is a terrible thing

Wasn't you it showed desperation for money when Derby got their stadium sponsored Woody?

The Kuwaiti city stadium is a carp name for a ground but ipro isn't much better but if it brings in money then everyone should go for it.

Didn't Fawaz claim that Forest doesn't have a whole government behind it like Man City? Now a whole government is sponsoring it?

Looks like UAE are kicking Kuwait's a55 at the moment though in the colonisation of football sweepstakes.

I think it's a good idea for any club and anyway to make money is a good thing. Not sure it helps with FFP though as don't City have a similar thing but still got 'hammered' with a fine as it was shown to be a workaround?

I'm not sure being named after a country with possible human rights issues is the greatest thing for a club though as if it all kicks off again it might drag the club's reputation down a bit too.

"reputation"

posted on 28/7/14

If this 500 million is true, doubt it, has Fawaz effectively asked the Kuwaiti government to bail him out?

On a more positive note could this solve war when instead of young men laying down their lives for older men, nation states could wage football against each other instead.

It would mean the end of the beautiful game as we know it but if world peace could be a by product of this I think I'd have to support it.
