If we wanted to fund money for another striker who'd you sell first?
No need to "cash in" on anyone.
Good squad player with plenty of experience. What is another £10m in the bank going to do that Podolski can't?

No one. We have money. Look at our finances.
"Surely Poldi could fetch us £10m."
You basically badmouth him for the entire article and talk about how limited he is and how we should replace him, then suggest we could get back what we paid for him.
Yes, but only if we're getting a replacement forward.

Campbell can offer us much more long-term and maybe even now (for his pace and skill).

If these D. Costa rumours are anything to go by it could help fund him. I'm certain that we're still gonna try and make some money back from all these buys anyway. Wouldn't mind seeing him go tbh, just hasn't worked out.
We brought Sanogo on for him in the final to change our fortunes for goodness sake!
Despite winning the World Cup with Germany, I don't think Poldi's stock is particularly high at the moment, so I'm not sure there's much to 'cash in' on with him.
On the other hand, Campbell's stock has never been as high as it is right now, (and may never be again).
They'd both probably fetch around the £10m mark, and given the choice I'd sell the younger player.

Campbell.

Why him? Can we just give him a chance in the PL League and see how he is doing? Why would we let him go?

My main point is that he doesn't suit our style. He's still a good player. He would have thrived at a direct team like Liverpool (last season) for example he's a German international too so £10m isn't unrealistic.
Oh and would be a £2m loss for us actually

I don't think Campbell is all that quick with the ball at his feet and, despite having a good finish on him, his level of skill looks nothing special whenever I've seen him.
Yet to see many constructive arguments against my point
I guess people want him here for his tweets #aha
He hasn't flopped but he's been far from a revelation. Pretty much shines against West Ham and that's about it
Sanogo coming on in the final and changing the game for us nearly sums it up.
He's also always injured and even if we didn't receive much for him fee wise we certainly would free up a mass amount of wage space

Even Wenger commended his ability to do 'something out of nothing' after the United game he has got skill. He's also got potential whereas what we've got from Podolski is as good as we'll get it's probably only downhill from here.
In fact isn't he still injured from the WC?
Would much rather sell Pod than Santi, it's not even close.
Why want people to sell one of our players? Financialwise we are in a good position for the first time. We don't need to sell ffs. Keep the team together and add instead of sell someone.
