Pak will have NO chance of doing well let alone winning the World Cup.

Im a huge Pak fan but Pak need better consistency to go far in the World Cup but also long term the future in ODI.

Their form is worse than Cook's ODI record. & the dreaded WC hoodoo (vs India) is not going to be broken on this form

The Death of Philip Hughes has inspired New Zealand to do well (since that 3rd Test Match where Pak were guaranteed to get 500+ in 1st innings) but the deaths of Innocent Childrens in Peshawar cannot inspire Pak to win the decider - Woeful performance & overall a woeful series with New Zealand.

Its obvious Pak are not going to fulfill the dream of the late Bob Woolmer which is to Make Pak the best Test team in the World & was so very close to winning the test series vs Saffas in Saffas backyard.

The best thing we can do is send a load of young players to WC. Forget all this Ajmal and Hafeez rehab,drop Misbah, Khan, Tanvir, Gul, Wahab and Shafiq and work towards 2019 WC.

Get Babar Azam, Hammad, Sami Aslam, Zia Ul Haq, Gohar in and let the team build. They might even suprise a few.

Even the the Second coming of the Saviour of Pak Cricket (M Amir) will struggle to save Pak from their current ODI crisis.

I really fear for Pak cricket - with the WC looming & no ODI cricket to gain some sort of confidence & momentum & most importantly self-belief which is cleary lacking.

Their next ODI is a WC Practice match vs New Zealand in Jan 31st.

All the other nations will already have been playing (lots of) ODI cricket by that time & Pak will be languishing well behind in ODI match fitness.

Good point. Not only have we got a mediocre team, but the pcb are incapable of arranging adequate prep for the team.. It's a farce on and off the field to be honest

We should arrange another series before WC. Even if it's some low ranked side as the main sides are all involved in series between themselves. So many problems with the side, the makeup and approach. This is why i reckon we should send the kids.

He's still going to play T20s for Pak. However he is our only proper 6 hitter from any length. They will probably replace him with another slug.

We are the 7th ranked side. After West Indies its minnows. We are a poor one day side and it will be a repeat of Champions trophy last year in England.
