Henri deserves PL football, more than good enough.
Maybe, but if he goes to Burnley then it'll be a very shortsighted move on his part. I hope he stays at Forest, but I think we'll do equally well with him or not.
I think other teams will show and interest of Forest are open to offers. I really hope he gives us one more season. Agree Burnley would be a dicey move as I see them challenging Derby's Prem points total.
Since Lascelles and Darlow Im learning to let things go.
I can already envisage our captain back in midfield.
All is well in my little world <smile>
Tbh I would be more disappointed to lose Henri than any of the others, he would be extremely difficult (and expensive) to try and replace, let's get this sorted one way or the other ASAP
If he has to go I'd have hoped for a little more than 3.5m 😔. Assuming he does go, What would our midfield be? Reid, Vaughan, Paterson, Burke, Antonio, Osborn, McLaughlin (missed anyone?) is still a good pool to choose 4 from?

Alls well in mine
He's a fool to leave for Burnley if you ask me. We would then desperately need Vaughan to stay fit for the season. We still need another DM (playmaker) if you ask me.
Or if Fox holds down the LB place then Cohen can do that job in midfield. But we will miss Lansbury's goals.

The thing is, he is nearly 24 now and probably sees the prospect of another long haul in the championship as another where he is not proving himself at the highest level.
He is, I am sure, still harbouring dreams of moving to one of the more established teams in the PL as well as no doubt harbouring dreams of playing for England.
A year with Burnley in the PL, even if they do go down, could be more constructive in realising this dream compared to another season in the Championship.
From his point of view, I guess, it is a case of how long can he wait before he returns to the PL?
I would have thought a couple of better teams would have been interested at that price though.
Whether we like it or not Burnley is a much more attractive proposition than forest right now. F he did well in the prem then he would probably be bought by another prem team even I relegated. Plus he will probably double his wages at least!
Sadly I can't blame him. That's how football is now!
He has spent a good part of his time with us either injured or suspended. Certainly a cracking player, but might be good business to let him go if the price is right.
It was Daily Mail reporting it and the same reporter who suggested earlier that the Cox / Mackie activity would cause more friction (despite being SP clear out). It might happen but I don't trust the lowest of low paper, or their reporters whatsoever. We'll see
Selling Lansbury for 3.5 million would be an insult - i'd say at least 6 or 7.
If it was up to me he'd be staying to help us move forward!
Apparently Andy Reid was on 5 Live earlier and he reckons he'll stay so there you go.
FAF, I trust Reidy a lot more than I don't be Daily Fail who's story is laughable as it is cobbled together bits of rumour and guff that have been floating around this passed week. The usual alarm of attention to detail when it comes to football reporting outside the Prem.
I can't see Lansbury going to Burnley, a London club maybe, but not that back end of Lancashire!
