4th or 5th. Can't see a trophy... Although not out of the question.

I think we will be better then people think we will, although we may start poorly compared to last season.

3rd or 4th in the league, we will get out of the group in the CL and knock a big gun out on the way to the QF's.

I think we will win the Cap 1 cup for BR's first trophy.

I would like to think I could be wrong in this but I'm fairly confident that when all of the schoolkids wake up, this article is going to be full of "deluded Liverpool fans" type of comments.

I would also like to think that Liverpool could end the season with a trophy but currently am not getting my hopes up, unless of course we manage to get a 15+ goal striker.

No pressure really. Rival fans, pundits etc all expect us to do a Spurs. If we do a Spurs then they were right but the incentive is to do better. Most people expect a City, Chelsea, Arsenal and United top 4.

I think we will surprise people with notion of doing a Spurs.

Expectations are down for us which means less pressure.

When Brendan and his coaches have filtered out the England from the world cup players then we will carry on where we left off scoring freely but conceding less but it will take a few weeks to fully de-hodgsonise the players! YNWA

Yeah I've never really understood what the term 'doing a Spurs' means. Okay they were on the end of some drubbings but I think that masked a fairly impressive league position/points total considering that they lost their best player and changed managers.

While there's similarities to the situation we're in compared to Spurs last season I think there's enough differences for there to be a good chance will have a more impressive season post Suarez as Tottenham had post Bale.

I think we'll finish between 1st & 4th with a trophy of sum description because this Liverpool team has Got Better! bdum tish

Seeing as we're third seeds, who knows if we get a bad draw we may end up winning the Europa League.

I think a lot depends on how we start the season. An early defeat may bring in a little self-doubt, and it depends how they handle it. A good start to the season like last year and the confidence will soar.

We over achieved last season. I expect us to challenge for the top four and do well in one of the domestic cups. We are way ahead of where I expected us to be in termd of results. So I disagree when people say that the msnager is under ptessure this season

I don't think there's too much pressure even if we finished 6th and won no trophies I can't see BR getting sacked, I think that the owners will recognised this is a lengthy process.
