£15m would be a fair price, if they want £20m+ we should run a mile imo

Straight swap for Paulinho

Doubt Paula would want to go there

Very good player and one I wanted at LFC but I would have thought Spurs would want other postions first such as another wide man. May be wrong.

Getting more and more lukewarm about signing him as this drags on. He seems to have a questionable attitude and is too similar to the players we already possess in CM. Would much rather we bring in a more creative CM or strengthen in other areas (i.e. CB, LW, ST)

Super Tottenham, you don't know the full details though mate. The Southampton hierarchy promised Schneiderlin he could leave after 6 years service then backtracked and changed their mind after the fans backlash from the chambers sale. He was on the verge of signing for us apparently. Wouldn't you be annoyed?

"I don't think we should get involved and reflects poorly on us until such point Southampton want to sell and state a value for the lad"

I haven't seen any statement from our club to say they are involved

I can understand his frustration, but theres no need for him to go mouthing off on Twitter.

My main issue though is I really think were crying out for a creative CM. We are looking to break into the top 4 yet are the only ones out of our rivals who dont have a dedicated creative CM.

Liverpool have Gerrard
Man U have Herrera
City have Toure
Arsenal have Ramsey
Chelsea have Fabregas

Just find it frustrating that we seem to be linked to another midfielder who is in a very similar mould to our current players.

I realise Schneiderlin is more than just a destroyer type DM, but as a comparison Gerrard created 94 chances in the 2012/2013 season (cant find last seasons stats)

Ok

Lennon created more big chances than Ramsey and one less than silva!

We have creative players already we need a decent centrally pair to help us to stop leaking goals

Absolutely no problem with Schneiderlin's attitude. If anything it's good to see he wants to come to us so much.

The same thing happens to us when Madrid come knocking and I have no problems with the likes of Bale and Modric wanting to leave then.

More creative than any of our current midfielders

Gerrard is creative for the opposition. Some of his through balls to Drogba, Henry etc over the years have been exquisite.
