Kind of agree. Thought we looked worse when Antonio went off, he was one of the better players first half imo. Harding also got better as the game progressed. I would have given Reid MOM, but Manc deserved it; he was solid - so good at tackling! The strikers need to play more games together and build up an understanding - they weren't linking up very much today.
Disappointed we didn't bring Pato on for Antonio - thought he would have had a lot more to offer than McLaughlin, who didn't do much at all. Osborne for me looked more promising.

I agree Hoons, I was a bit confused why Pato didn't come on. Also thought it was a good opportunity to give Veldwijk his debut.
Colin where were your predictions
Think McLaughlin needs some time on the pitch. best to give him the experience when we've got the points in the bag. not when it really matters
I hope Paterson doesn't lose the momentum from last season. Not sure where he fits into this side if we play two up front but guess he'll be used more in away games off the striker.
For me Burke should have been MOTM
Pearce brought McLaughlin on for Paterson last Sat when WBA were threatening to overrun us, and he steadied the ship after Pato had a bit of an off day.
Thought McLaughlin did well today, one poor cross straight after coming on but later one of their men was booked for half tripping him - he stayed on his feet and got a decent cross in.
I just thought bringing Pato on would have given us more chance of another goal or two. Not massively important I know when the game was in the bag. We just became a bit stagnant down the LHS with McLaughlin playing there, although saying that, I agree he didn't do much wrong ..
I thought Chris Cohen had an immense game. He broke up play constantly, got between our defence & the ball & showed why he is Captain.
Also although missed by cameras & most of the crowd, the Psycho salute to A block was a buzz at the end
Agree with most of the above but IMHO Harding was 4-5 (rating) ... a guy with no confidence. Antonio was 7. He will get better.
To be fair, Psycho did wave/salute upon many requests. Great to see.
