"Wenger has stated Sanchez will be used as a centre forward."

this. He said he'll use him as a striker.

Sanchez and Sanogo going off was key to City turning the game around in the second half and having the best of possession.

Sanchez put in a good shift including some defensive work and Sanogo, although not the best, was a thorn in the side of their defence and kept them more occupied. As good as his goal was, Giroud just didn't trouble the defence other than that.

That can be down to the situation of the game rather than personnel though, so be wary of making judgements. City had to press to get back in it and Arsenal had a nice lead to protect.

Think he'll take a little time to bed in..though it seems Sanchez game is much more suited to the PL.
He shouldn't shoulder the same responsibility a (A)CM has as he plays further forward than Ozil should.

As a side note, A7 is only 4.13 inches long...so not very big.

Closer to A3 here

Actually Man City attacking more in the second half should have made them even more vulnerable to the counter attack. Keep in mind thats what we did in the first half. After going ahead we sat back and hit Man City on the counter. Ramsey's goal was a superb counter attack goal. But we saw nothing in the second half because we lost pace in the striking position. We still had pace on the wing with Oxalde as we did with Alexis in the first. But our hold up play was next to non-existent.

Wenger saying Sanchez will play as a striker means that there's a lot less pressure on him to actually sign someone who plays there.

Henry had a rubbish record at Juventus but became Arsenal's top scorer.

Lukaku didn't shine at Chelsea, behind Torres in pecking order but became good at Everton.

Sanchez has you worried about his potential which can only be a good thing.

'Chatterer' misses the point, not too unusual for a gooner

Sanchez has been bought AS A 'Blue Riband' signing bud. The two examples you give are of a 'work in progress' .
Sanchez to me is a poor mans Aguero. But here's hoping he does well all the same
