Gillespie Road
Understand that the fee was e10m up front and remainder based on performances etc however it is estimated we have between £60/£80m available to spend.

So I heard. Fingers crossed for a probable trolley dash.

Monreal hasn't done too bad at CB to be honest. But he isn't the tallest and Palace could cause problems. But so long it's only one game it shouldn't be so bad.

It's still not good enough to be starting the season with a newly recruited 19 yr old and a left back(if Kos is not fit) .There is the need to banish that ghost of our opening 1-3 loss to Villa last season and get our campaign off to a good start.
Fingers crossed we bring in a good CB who can hit the ground running this week and the accelerated individual training regime ensures Per fit for Besiktas.
We have Hayden and Miquel as well.

And Semi Ajayi
We could really do with Sagna's versatility.
I hope the rumours around Agger are true, solid player would love him at Arsenal.
Liverpool would never sell to us. They have too much of a chip on their shoulders.

I don't know how much kudos I give it, but apparently Liverpool are keen to offload him, but are struggling with any takers.
Personally I've always found him a tad over-rated, I know the majority of folk rate him.
But I as Dubbed says, I very much doubt even if Arsenal were interested that Liverpool would sell to Arsenal, unless a bid for silly money was tabled.

Agger, good player but even more prone to niggles than Vermaelen. So, no.
Mangala cost approx £46m.
These are the silly prices being quoted. I suspect Wenger will leave it till the last day when clubs are bound to panic and sell. Obviously thats unlikely to be from Portugal because of multiple ownerships unless its for a loan and then you can never be sure over the commitment of the player.
