I have never heard of any other hashtags used to discuss United, but if someone did know one, they may be reluctant to put it on here, so people like RvP use it and annoy everyone.

Maybe? I use my phone mainly though.

Suppose it's the price you pay for being the biggest most supported club in world football.

Having resisted/not really understood Twitter for so long though it is a shame not to be able to interact with United fans on there. I'm sure there are hashtags out there for the bigger clubs but clearly they're well guarded.

It's hard to tell which one is which.

I don't think twitter is that good for football debate, certainly not a patch on our beloved ja606

During a game, like United v Swansea for example, you could try a hashtag like #UtdvSwan which would take you to a thread about that specific game, missing out the spam.

#afc is a real disaster. There's so nuch religious stuff and political propaganda. Even worse so much American football because AFC is one of their conventions

Any news on twitter about Vidal Hummels Di Maria Cuadrado De Jong Blind Khedira or Benatia?
