I'm not slandering, just genuinely shocked because I never had a clue what he was like outside of movies and standup.
Suffered from depression too. Sad stuff considering he's got a wife and kids
No way. One of the most quick witted comedians out there, fantastic actor too.

Heard this in the radio this morning.
Sad news, grew up watching this guy in films and yiu would never think he was a depressed man but just shows you.
There just isn't actors like him nowadays.

So sad. Depression is awful.
Yea he used to party heavy in the 80s took alot of coke with John Belushi would overdosed.
His stand ups were tremendously funny, and he had some great acting roles too. I was watching him in a film called the butler at the weekend. RIP Robin
Coincidentally been watching alot of his films on netflix very recently.
A genuine comic genius!
Sad that on one side we had this hysterical joker who it seems spent most of his life entertaining those who needed it most, both on and off the screen, but on the other a fellow hurting so badly, and in such a dark dark place he couldn't see anyway to continue.
