The weird thing is that he literally seems like a different player from when he was at Valencia. His link up play was minimal, but he was lethal in the box. Now it's the opposite.
I'm sure once he gets some confidence he'll be fine.

Thought he's looked pretty good in preseason - 3 goals and 3 assists I believe he got
To replace him will cost £20m up so bit going to happened
Went to the match on Saturday and really wanted to see Soldado play as I was frustrated last season at our big money signing. I have to say I was impressed with his movement, passing and "team" play. He made some great runs which weren't spotted or runs that drew defenders and created chances for other players. Something that frankly Ade didn't do much of in the first half.
I'm really hoping that he stays and gets a chance this season as he does give something different to Ade, even the I think Ade will be first choice. With the new formation he gives the attacking players behind him chances and space to attack.
Roll on the new season. COYS
I'm predicting big things for Bob this year , I reckon he will score 25 goals this season , 6 of them will be penalties.
I just dont think he is very good in front of goal, will be good for us probably but more in terms of link up play.
Does anyone think that Adabayor + Soldado will get at least 35 PL goals between them this season ??

20+ PL goals from one forward, or 35+ from a pair, is a good measure of attacking threat for a team at the business end of the table.
I cannot remember the last time Spurs did one of the above (Teddy + Klinsmann ?? ) .

Whilst i agree he is a team player this isn't what we paid £26m for.
I also find myself agreeing with Topgeezah whereby he doesnt seem to be able to get a shot away even from 12 yards and maybe its the physical nature of our game.
That said, as Gav says, its a clean slate under the new manager and his new ideas.
As for the article, in my opinion neither Kane or Soldado will get anything like 8 goals individually (certainly not from open play).
