I was just kidding with my results, I graduated with a 2:1 Masters in Mechanical Engineering this year. Real course, real exams

There's no such thing as a 2:1 Masters degree.

Calling someone not bright is not always good. Some people are just not meant to get good grades

No there isn't, Masters's don't have honours in the same way as undergraduate degrees do. You can get a Master's with distinction, or with Merit, or as a pass.

You can do a 5 year masters (in Scotland), or a 4 year masters in England (I think), which are graded. Postgraduate masters you either get distinction/merit/pass in.
4 a's at as. I'll take it

Surely that's just a combined course from the off, your degrees are still separate aren't they?
No, I only have a MEng, if I had dropped out during 5th year I wouldnt have got a bachelors.
Edin is embarrassing himself here. hat a noob
Well that sucks. You should get both - everyone likes letters.
Anyway, I still don't believe there is such a thing as a 2:1 - never heard of it used for a masters' degree. Show me a link for that.
Edin getting caught out engineer your way out of this hole you're digging yourself
It looks like a great course though.
Proving harder to find than first anticipated. Might take me a while.
Thinking about it, this is in Scotland, they do all sorts of weird and wonderful things up there.
