JSPC, does owning one app actually provide you with a lifestyle? Get many buyers? Is it consistent or hit and miss?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea, it has 2 million installs now on the free app, so ad revenue is pretty damn good. That's where the only real money is with Android.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sweet mate, does it keep you busy or do you have other projects under way?

I used to make websites on Macromedia Dreamweaver when I was younger. What a program that was
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When I first started, Dreamweaver was witchcraft, how they made it that good was beyond me.
Now though, it's too big for what I need. Notepad is perfect.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh definitely Meastro. I didnt know how to use most of the functions on there to be honest but whenever I did make a simple website, it would always come out better in Dreamweaver than on Microsoft Frontpage.
I used to get a lot of codes from HTML websites and paste them in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Frontpage is evil. It clutters the code, and it just looks amateurish. Since Adobe bought Macromedia, Dreamweaver has improved but I don't know any professional coder who uses it, maybe because it's something like £300 a copy.
I am actually launching a new website in a few months (maybe next year), which is a website, that makes websites.

What do you do?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I started just making front end of websites, but now I am building full websites, from start to finish.
I've also moved into graphics too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite a saturated market websites. You should get into bespoke software, it's the future

Adobe Creative Cloud makes it too cheap to even bother with pirate software
Same here, but it's apparently almost impossible to crack nowadays.
The best editor I have found, is called Brackets.
Also, made by Adobe, but it's open source.
Used to spend hours on crack/patch websites before.
There was one with a mega search engine. Forgot the name to it though..
Yeah there is some money in apps at the moment.
