I think you would only need one to have a good time by the looks of things!

I can not see it personally but I think Utd like us could be anything from 1st to 6th, so I can sort of see why people would tip Utd or us to win it even though I think it is very unlikely

i really think people need to stop making a big deal over predictions like this.

We would have been worthy winners last year and our squad has bulked up - so why not ?

You're squad has bulked up but the net result is a considerable drop in quality.

With Anderson, United's squad is already bulked up.

Because you have lost the one truly top player that you had and a large portion of your team is made up from average players.

City, Arsenal and Chelsea have all bought better and I can't see United being as bad as we were last season.

Your best chance of the title was last year and you dropped the ball I am afraid.

My god his predictions are worse than Phil McNulty's

As individuals I can see the point of many rival fans, but Rodgers knows how to bring together and create a team more than the sum of it's parts.

Easy to say that now, you weren't saying it last summer were you?

He's just done it to antagonise people, is there some phone in show that you can call to argue with him while he sits their coining it in while tossing himself off? If so then you know what to do.

I was and did, frequently on your board, while most of your fans didn't think you had a chance going for the title.

I think that everyone knew that last season was a chance for Liverpool to have a good year. SAF had left, Jose had only just taken back over at Chelsea and needed to bring in his own players and Arsenal hadn't won a trophy for 8 years and there was lots of pressure on Wenger. City were the only team in good shape - this season 3 of the traditional top 4 are more settled and the other one has a much better manager in position.

The same average players that finished second last season?

Utd have signed an over weight, over priced, inexperienced left back and a Spanish midfielder who at 25 has yet to play for his country and your going to make this huge step from 7th to back in the top 4.

Liverpool have lost Suarez yes but if you take his 31 goals away from what we scored last season we still scored 70 league goals. You can bang on about the signings we have made being average but you are an anonymous idiot on an Internet forum and I'd rather take a Brendan Rodgers opinion (managed to take this bunch of average shîte to 2 points away from the league) than yours!

Too much is made of predictions. Just some guys opinion. Doesn't make it right or wrong, and lets be honest, how often are they right? Not really a surprise though is it, Liverpool fan predicting Liverpool title triumph?

Watching the Dortmund game the patterns of play were still there. The movement was still there. The philosophy was still there. Keep Studge fit for 30 games and LFC will win a lot of games I reckon.

I think we'll surprise a few people.

Not actually injured. LVG has given him time to get fitter away from the glare of the world. He's been seen running today.

Which is fine and I take your point but we're not playing those teams every week are we. We got 84 points at the end of the day.
