Jimmy Phillips will be our next manager at Championship level.
Please God, somehow let Dougie return to Palace.
Just make it happen..
My issue with philosophy is midfield not attack. One upfront or two it won't matter with our midfield pairing f Spearing and Medo. The poor passing and weakness of our midfield stifles any attack we have.
Dougie freedman linked with the palace job in today's sun
The choice of manager if he would come is obvious. It has to be Tony Pullis. Many I agree won't like his style of football but just like in the Fat Sam days the criticism comes mainly from the London media and Arsene Wenger.
We are not a club who can buy our way out of the league and you do not get out of the championship by playing the beautiful game. Let's convince the man to take up one last challenge to return out club to the premier league.
Pullis for me with Phillips and David Lee as assistant and coach.
Sounds good to me but I doubt it will happen. For one thing, Freedman won't get sacked and will Palace want him back? Probably not.
Quote from the sun. " bolton's dougie freedman is the immediate favourite to make s dramatic return to selhurst after leaving them in october 2012".
It's in the sun so it won't happen.
Milky Mackay will get the Palace gig.
I suspect you'll be right about Mackay and we won't be able to afford to sack Freedman even the right man is available. We could always get him to take gardening advice from the ginger one.
All the other papers have mackay as nailed on favourite.
As per some of the betting:
Freedman is 20-1
Megson is 25-1
Coyle also 25-1
Megson 25/1 Does that mean someone has placed a bet????!!! Probably our ginger friend himself!
Latest I heard is holloway is leaving millwall.
Holloway!! Maybe Freedman isn't the worst we could have!!
Holloway? Please, don't scare me like that benny. Aren't things bad enough already?
No holloway going to palace.
Thought Palace had just got shut of Holloway. But regardless of who goes to Palace I'm in favour of getting Pulis in and giving Freedman a chance to prune his roses and other general gardening duties.
I'd try and get Steve Evans from Rotherham.
Former Scottish striker who used to play for us, what could possibly go wrong.
Simon Grayson?
Has left every club he's been at in a better position, often a higher league, albeit starting off in League One
Starting in league 1? He's one for next season then!
