Mirror And where does it say he wants £120K a week? All it says is Liverpool might offer that to keep Madrid away.

On the subject of the Article, both are very good young players who each set of fans prefer the one playing for them. Sterling is better than Ox was when he was 19.

Lol

You should at least pretend as if you are not biased.

They are both good players but sterling has done more in less time and just shades it for me

Both exceptional talents.

Sterling's a very intelligent player, IMO: great off-the-ball movement, good vision, and presses/defends diligently.
I already rate him as one of the best attacking players in the Premiership.

Chamberlain hasn't had as much exposure to first-team football, so it's understandable that he has yet to garner the sort of praise that Sterling has received over the last year or so.
However, I firmly believe that Chamberlain should already be a regular fixture in the first-team both for Arsenal and England.
He's perhaps not quite as intelligent in his movement as Sterling, and doesn't quite have the agility that the Liverpool man does.
However, his range of passing is very underappreciated, and his flair, pace, and upper body strength makes him a defender's nightmare when he gets running with the ball.

Both are already among the best players in their position, IMO - even though Chamberlain hasn't really had the consistent run of games to establish it - and both definitely have the potential to be world-class.
Couldn't really choose between them.

Sterling is in better form and has had more opportunities to shine at Liverpool.
But I feel that Chamberlain has more ability.

If he was at Liverpool, I'm certain he'd be making the same strides Sterling did last year.

So you rate Ox as one of the best attacking players in the league as well then?

Why not?

Yes, I do; I just don't think he's had enough game time to develop his reputation.
It might sound strange/premature, but every time he's had a chance to play down the flanks, he's looked like one of our best players, and I firmly believe with regular game-time, he could establish himself as one of the best players in his position in the league.

Sterling is miles ahead of Ox. Don't kid yourselves. Ox has made very minimal gains, if any, since he moved here.

Whilst I'm not sure I'd say Chamberlain is more talented - I think they're both pretty even - I fully agree that if Chamberlain had had the sort of regular first-team exposure that Sterling has had over the last year or so, he'd be held in the same regard

Sterling's form in the 2nd half of last season was one of the very best in the league. His form in the title run-in was facking excellent. The guy was a nightmare - whether playing left or right wing, inside forward or no.10 role. On the inside channels, he's basically Walcott with more natural ability.

And once again AW is at fault for stifling young talent.

Ox lacks tactical awareness and his passing is below par, Sterling is comfortably the superior player.

What a ridiculously biased article and a poor attempt at a wind up. Sterling was probably one of the few positives from England's dismal world cup campaign as he actually showed willingness to run at players and had far more attacking prowess than the established names. He was also our best player towards the back end of last season and seems to have picked up where he left off in pre season. The fact that he is a regular starter and one of the first attacking names on the team sheet for us at 19 speaks volumes about how highly he's rated.

Ox is a hard one to judge because injury has hindered his progression and only 14 league appearances last season didn't help. Both are quite similar in styles but I would say Sterling has the ability to play centrally whereas it was a bit of a farce when Wenger started Chamberlain in the middle last season as the boy clearly struggled. Both very good talents but Sterling is further ahead in his development by quite some distance although Chamberlain has been hampered by injuries so far - although that seems to be a recurring theme at Arsenal.
