We weren't that impressive but we got better in the second half, and the subs looked like good decisions.

Don't get me wrong.. you can fault him. but do you also credit him when due?

and dont get me wrong I am not on a witchhunt for any Spurs player but we all aspire to top 4 and sorry but Rose is simply not good enough to get us there.

He is not the only one btw.

As I said he did not have a dreadful game or anything but he never had a good game either about a 6.5 in my books.

He did not have a bad enough game for me to slaughter him but he definitely did not have a good enough game to warrant any praise either

Well as most on here know I am the first one on the managers case when I think he gets it wrong and today I thought he got it wrong when he put Kane on instead of Soldado.

Then Kane of course puts a lovely thru ball thru for Dier to score the winner so MP got things dead right.

3 points away from home on the opening day in a London derby even tho we played at least an hour with 10 men.

MP obviously got everything spot on including holding his nerve and not making rash substitutions at half time to repair the loss of Naughton

Grand

I'm by no means a Rose fan or Walkers for that matter but today he did ok.
I was at the game against Chicago and Rose was the worst player on the field by a country mile. Just hope Davies turns out to be half decent and Yedlin is a no brainer at RB next year.

Dier did OK, but would rather have a traditional RB.

To be honest I might play Dier up front next game the way he took that chance

He is obviously better one on one than Adebayor

Talking to a West Ham mate who was at the game, he reckons the difference was when West Ham had the extra man they didn't go on the attack, but when West Ham went down to ten Spurs took the initiative and went for the win.

Very encouraging signs. I really think we've got a top manager. Give him some time to implement his style and we'll be top 4 challengers.
