EA have done a superb job with the franchise tbh abiet some issues over the years.

That's your only gripe with FIFA14?

The problem with PES is that every year they release a demo that looks great, then they release a demo which is good, then they release the actual game which is utterly awful.

Every year they get people's hopes up and every year they disappoint.

Both look pretty bad, but I'll buy Fifa anyway.

FIFA have got a hold on this market now and they're not letting go. Even if PES was better, I'd buy FIFA simply because everyone I know would.

Neither unless they make some significant changes to the game ai. Both games have been poor for years now. The flashyness of Fifa (I admit it looks gorgeous) doesn't cover the fact that the game doesn't play like football, and the ai is shocking. PES has had a worse run and has been she it from 2006. A few hours on the demos often tell the whole story so I will ignore these videos for now.

Fifa 14 was the worst football I've ever had. For that reason I won't be purchasing a new fifa again. And most of my mates are in the same boat. Will be the first time in bout 15 years I havnt bought a footy game. RIP.

Agree that FIFA14 was awful.

I've no intention of buying the new one as I actually hated the last one, and I kept going back to it in the hope that maybe I'd start enjoying it.

fifa imo have just taken the fun out of it.
the way you have to pass all the time,
you get zero time on the ball
cant dribble past players like you could on pro evo back on the ps2

fifa is just like playing 'the barcelona way' with every single team.

I'd say FIFA now is about parking the bus and letting the CPU do all your defending for you.

how does the premier league start earlier, have no mid winter break and still finish the same time as all the other leagues do?

PES gameplay was fun in 2013 although it annoyed me how long it would take to get to the next match on Master League so I gave up. Apparently last year's was crap though.

I liked FIFA 12 online play but offline has always been rubbish, and the last two years have just been crap in general.

I'll see what the PES demos are like for PS3.

pro evo 1-6/7 were the best football games ever. then fifa 09-12 were great. 13 was fun, but OP on pace. and 14 has made me not want to buy a game again. how bad is that.
