Do you genuinely believe you play better football than Madrid?
For some reason, it started being reported a few years ago that Arsenal played amazing football, and since then it has become gospel that no one does it better.
Got to be honest, you've not played that 'beautiful' football for a good few years now, except on the odd occasion.
Jayne, Madrid play average football. Long ball to Ronaldo and Bale and hope they do something. They are not a beautiful passing a team
Finally a sensible Arsenal fan. Fabregas will be found out against tougher opposition

Neither are you if the last 2 seasons are much to go by. Like I said, you've had flashes of great stuff, but to be honest, a lot of your football is no better than Liverpool's, City's or United's. You just don't play better stuff, and to suggest Madrid are a long ball team
In all fairness we've plucked Real Madrid's and Barcelona's 2nd best players two years running now. Wenger is a huge draw for players and Arsenal is seen, rightly or wrongly, as a premier league team that doesn't play premier league style football. We're half way between La Liga and the EPL in the eyes of most.
If we keep on at this rate we'll have some incredible players at Arsenal.
As for Cesc he left because he wasn't Xavi. His stats at Barcelona are still mightily impressive and it's obvious that it was politics that pushed him out more than his ability. Rakitic is not an upgrade on Cesc.

To be fair he was rejected by Barcelona and refused by Wenger, and Chelsea are the only team stupid enough to pay big wages for a player that is clearly past their peak

Cesc Fabregas is the pass-master. No one comes any close to his passing stats no matter where he played.
He will assist so many goals this season for Chelsea. It will be unreal. Costa will get all the praise for scoring a lot of goals this season. Bookmark it.

Can only beat what's in front of you HK, you played a pulis-less crystal palace side at home and struggled badly and was lucky to win. Burnley away is not really that much easier
