It is, normally they would give you some generic reply which would leave you none the wiser.
The ground in Limassol is not equipped to allow a lot of TV cameras & their staff in. We would probably have only got relayed Greek television coverage anyway, which is not particularly good.
And before anyone has a go, I was out there in March & actually went to a game in Nicosia.!
Will get a stream as on bein in USA & Canada and also on tv in Cyprus

on this occasion we have chosen to show the 2nd leg match against AEL Limassol. This match will bring an end to the tie, and will determine which team progresses to the next stage of the competition.
I wish you the very best of luck in Cyprus tomorrow night, hopefully Spurs can bring back a healthy lead to defend at White Hart Lane next week.

Choosing to air the second leg and hoping Spurs bring back a healthy lead is not really going to help with their viewing strategy is it.

"Choosing to air the second leg and hoping Spurs bring back a healthy lead is not really going to help with their viewing strategy is it."
Based on past Europa viewing stats (Spurs and PL clubs) at this stage, ITV probably have done the bean counting and it won't be profitable for them (ad money etc) whereas the WHL leg will be.
anyone know what squad has travelled? hopefully a few key players left behind to focus on QPR on sunday.
need 3 points from that one

Only to protect you from T(oilet)block and Mich.

no. because if we have any reasonable aspirations this season then we need to be beating relegation sides at home

That may be true but we all know that they will be secretly hoping for a banana skin scenario making the second leg far more appealing to promote.
So any well wishing can be taken with a huge pinch of salt.
6pm kick off our time doesn't make money (or enough money), ratings pretty low, Londoners still at work. A money thing but I'm impressed that ITV gave a detailed response.

Of course.
But a 5pm KO (UK time) is not likely to have enough Spurs fans or neutrals tuning him to watch the game and get the ad money in.
Enough viewers will appear for the WHL leg, whatever the 1st leg result.
What is the deal with ITV now ??
Are they now bidding against Sky and BT Sport for the pick of the UEFA games ??

This is disappointing. Whilst the opposition is poor, its always nice to see a good run out and get some goals to bring confidence.
Looks like i'll be doing a full day tomorrow then.
