Loan for falcao

Must add I think it's highly unlikely but we are running out of options for a real quality striker and if the lad has his heart set on Madrid but Madrid aren't in for him this summer it may appeal to him especially if he has his heart set on leaving Monaco

Why is he leaving Monaco? I thought they had money to burn?

It is not about money but about ambitions to play competitive football.

I'd be gobsmacked if we signed him.

Falcao is just such a risky situation for any club interested right now. Would cost big money but for that he could come back and be the player he once was, which is honestly one of the best strikers I have ever seen... Or he could be a shadow of his former self.

If 15mil€ includes wages then that's actually a bargain

Could we fit him and Studge in?

That's it Romans, it's a huge fee for a loan but we could spend more on say bony and it may not work out for us or the player.

If we got falcao on loan and he flopped it would only be for one year so we'd not be stuck with a huge wage contributing little, or he could do well meaning maybe a possibility to buy him or most likely Madrid come in for him and he's off.

We've spent more money on tragic players in the past, if we could pull it off which is very unlikely I'd be up for it.

Don fabio I don't think it's a matter of having to fit them both in, we can play a diamond in some games meaning both play with sterling behind ( that sounds tasty) or they can rotate, we can't rely on studge for every game and I don't think lambert is good enough to be starting league or cl games for us.

It's not simply a case of one or the other

I'd have him any day of the week at Chelsea even at the money quoted. Don't suppose you lot want Torres back at all do ya? PLEASE!

Isn't it roughy a loan fee of £4-5 mil + wages though?

That seems a bargain unless my maths are off

The figures sound a bit crazy but the bottom line is we need to secure CL football because the longer you are in it the easier it becomes to stay in it.

If the chance is there to secure a world class player, even if its just for this season, then it could be a risk worth taking.

With the amount of noise around this deal there must be an element of truth to it.

I fully expect falcao OR reus to join permanent or on loan. BR imo will get a deal done on or very near the last day of the transfer wwindow.

BR knows we need a top striker, couldvthe difference between a double or justbthe title

Do ever what we can do to secure the Falcao deal. He is the difference now between fighting for fourth and the title.

I'm waiting for the apology by RAP about Tim Vickery. When a BBC journalist tells you they have a source, you facking listen. Vickery called a big name player 2 weeks ago.

Nothing has happened yet.

This is what makes me sad about Suarez he was the me ticket. You are right about Falcao and the season before his move he was probably the best striker in the world .. I remember him absolutely destroying Chelsea that season too. Make it happen LFC

Before Suarez hit his peak form we struggled to break teams down who parked the bus no matter how poor their defence was. With Suarez gone do you think we'll struggle with this or thrive?

I predicted someone would predict we'd be linked with a big name player.

I'm so

65mil euro option for a player who will be nearly 30 next year? Sounds pricey.

Don;t think pace is his main attribute. Everything I've seen of him its all been about clinical finishing.

thats right...best attribute is his heading.

scored on his first game back.

would be an unreal signing to replace suarez and given our squad ha been strengthened significantly this summer, we would be a much stronger team than last year
