Well, I have to say that the Fellaini signing caused me more than mere apathy.
Fellaini was definably more of a disappointing signing. Rojo has proved people wrong his whole career and he will do again.

Has he?
Well he proved the Argentinian fans wrong. They even sang his name from the stands at the end of the world cup

Did they not want him to play? Never knew that.
Before the WC he was the supposed weak link but by the end they loved him. He will never give up always battles and wont hide away in shame at Old Trafford. He is the type of personality we need.

To be fair, who did Argentina play at the WC? Belgium, Holland (who didn't play wingers), Switzerland, Nigeria, Iran.
He didn't have the most difficult of times.
He does remind me a little of Heinze VC, but better on the ball. It's tough to tell a player by a WC performance though, they will always give that extra 10%

...........
You really are a much better poster than this.
You do know that Holland had one of the best players in the world playing on Rojo's side of the pitch?
Likewise you conveniently left our Germany, who also didn't get a look in down his side of the pitch.
He did make couple of hard tackles on Robben, got booked as well if I remember correctly
Im sure he will be a solid LB, unsure about him being a CB though
be interesting to see where he starts him, if he starts him... as BB says lacking at both lwb and cb at present.
Evans is back in training (going from pics from todays training session)... if fit enough it could solve the problem with Rojo going in at lb/lwb

I've not said he didn't have a good WC, I just think people overstate it.
People know my views on the signing, I think we over paid where we didn't need to. Only time will tell and as I've said I hope to be wrong. I wasn't wrong when everybody lambasted me for moaning about the Fellaini signing though.

People don't over state it, they use it against posters who have never seen hiom play, or talk bollox.
You quite clearly have an issue with this signing, and I have no idea why. You clearly haven't seen him play, and you then try to downplay his role for the Argies in the W/C.
Everyone watched the WC, Atleast the final and semis, I dont think there is a single poster here who have never seen him play

You would be very surprissed.
Some effwit the other day did a thread against not wanting him and confessed to having not seen him play at all.
Are you talking about this one

I said Ive never seen him play at CB or seen him play for his club, I though we are signing him as a backup LB when the news first came out
We've bought who we've bought. Players aren't exactly breaking the door down to come to OT.
That said, surely we'll bid for Di Maria and/or Khedira now? Won't we?
