Just find it strange that people wouldn't have him at Arsenal based on his 'antics' which amounted to acting childishly when he had very little responsibility in his life, but will defend Giroud who cheated on his wife with a hooker the night before one of our big games.

At least Balotelli is open about his strangeness - Giroud is just a cheat.

Milan are selling because Inzaghi has inherited a mess from last season. They have no European football whatsoever, and of their main assets Balotelli was the one they were least likely to build a good team around. That's not because of a lack of ability, but if Milan do make the top three it will require much better teamwork as there are probably about five clubs who are still better than them.

Somehow I am unsure if Balotelli in London was a good idea, and I could not have seen Wenger tolerating the Balotelli sideshow.

To be fair I think Wenger knows he's not going to win the league, but it content with it. I just can't see him finishing above the likes of Mourinho and City

I think there is a serious shortage of top strikers available, there are plenty better than Giroud, but few good enough to take you to the next level.

I'd love to see him at Arsenal, he's a huge upgrade on Giroud and he's played in the league before. 16m is a bargain these days, hope Wenger comes in with a cheeky bid

£16m for a player who scored 3 goals last season . Never hit more than 18 goals a season in his career. Giroud got over 20 last season

Looking at the original post i would say the word Arrogant is apt

Balotelli ain't gonna be world class, hasn't got the temperament. Was never excited when he was linked to us before. Good striker, probably better than Giroud, but nothing to cry about imo.

Even f they just sit him on the bench for the whole season they have increased their chances of top 4 by denying us a decent striker.
I would have been happy to see balo at Arsenal but, as usual, Wenger has his head in the sand..Unless of course he has a better striker lined up??

I wonder if Balotelli is the driver of this move since there have been unpleasant instances of racism in Italy. I would like to think there is much less of this in England and that players feel they can come here and play to their potential.
