Di Maria is a better player. Whether he joins us or a rival, or comes out and says he hates united, would never consider us and revealed a Liverpool tattoo he is still the better player.

Hazard is great though, and may go on to be better.

Di Maria isn't coming to England. Any how, ADM is better, by some distance.

I think Di Maria is a very good player and would grace any team. However, I think Hazard is just as good and has more potential. It's very easy for a forward player who plays for Real Madrid to shine and I'm not sure he'll be as effective in the Premier League, although he'd still be excellent. It must be said though, he was probably Madrid's best player in the last 2 months of last season.

They both have great attributes.

What sets them apart is that Hazard can beat a man better, and Di Maria has a great eye for assists.

Di Maria is a little more direct, Hazard has a lot more to him game but is less consistent, he is also three years younger. They probably have a similar level of effectiveness right now but Hazard is clearly the one you’d want. He has a lot more talent than Di Maria.

Hazard is better imo. and Hazard has more potential.

Di Maria.....meh, very good player don't get me wrong but he's nothing special. He isn't world class.
He's more on the Alexis Sanchez, Mata, Schurrle, Silva type level.
Robben, Hazard, Neymar & Bale are definitely better.

I prefer to watch Di Maria, but Hazard has the potential to be very effective.

The way Schurrle is stepping up this season I’m not sure I’d even swap him for Di Maria, very happy with Hazard and Schurrle with Willian the workhorse option.

I find it hard to believe that all things being equal any fan would choose Di Maria over Hazard.

Why not? Di Maria is stronger mentally and just does more. Though he is more of a risk taker so loses the ball more.

I think Di Maria might be ahead by a small margin. He has more consistency than Hazard, but that comes with his experience. I would say that Hazard has a higher potential, and more talent though.

Di Maria does play in a system which is more attacking than Hazard does. Last year Hazard had to carry the whole team going forward, and really didn't have any players around him giving him any support.

As I said, I rate Di Maria, he’s effective and more direct than Hazard, he’s great at getting up the flank and getting assists in, a devastating player at his best but Hazard although I wouldn’t say he’s better at this stage does have more to his overall game and is three years younger. Di Maria is as good as he’s going to get, Hazard is the kind of player who could step up in the way Ronaldo did and reach that next level, Di Maria won’t ever do that.

For me Hazard needs to do it more consistently. Whether he has more potential than di Maria remains to be seen, but there are too many times he flatters to deceive. He could be top 10 player in the world, anything more, I wil lbe surprised.
