GB come off it Terry is a better player then lovren and him and Cahill are a great pairing, we still have the weakest defense of the back four.
City have two elite defenders in zabeletta and kompany we don't have any elite (im refusing to use the term world class from now on it's the worst term in football)

Oscar was not better than Henderson last season, he just wasnt mate.

Fab/Moreno.....cant judge, both were not in the prem.

Lovren was better than both terry and cahill last season, again its based on names isn't it? Lovren was in team of the year chap...what more do you need?
Matic was nowhere near gerrard last season...mate, gerrard was right up there, its not even a debate.

I am going a bit on names here, but just because Henderson had the best season of his career doesn't mean I all of a sudden rate him above Oscar.
We can compare GKs, Cech was better than Mignolet last season and Courtois is potentially an upgrade...still remains to be seen though
Lovren wasn't in the team of the season, but Cahill was. Even if Cech is in goal and Azpi LB, I still rate Chelsea's entire back 5, individually and as a whole, better than Liverpool's. Last season they were by far the best defensive team in the league.
Matic is miles ahead of Gerrard as a DM. He's probably the best in the league at that position. Gerrard, while great going forward last season for you, was rather useless at protecting the back 4, and that was one of your main weaknesses in the side.
Fabregas I think we can judge in the Premier League. He's played multiple seasons here before and looked to be picking up right where he left off in that first game Monday.
As for Costa v Sturridge, I said it was very close but I still think Costa will bag more goals this season.

Whilst I don't agree with GB here, it's not the individual players which make the team, it's the team which make the team, hence why we finished about Chelsea last season.
